The aura that hiring Stevens would make us championship contenders overnight isn’t the facts. He’s an incredible coach that any college would want but unrealistic expectations could hinder his desire to consider the job. Granted, I want a coach that says, bring it on, in regards to expectations but much of the Brad Stevens hopium is greatly inflated. He’d have his work cut out for him as well. He has had really good success in the NBA and made back to back championship games at Butler. He is a no questions asked, throw a ton of money at type hire. If you listen to his youtube video on it, he does not really think it will be Stevens - just hopes based on a story of a friend.
