    Kinda funny UNC fans were still talking Donovan right up til Malone was announced. Sound familiar? Seems like the timing for Donovan to come back to college was finally gonna work this year. Maybe he has zero interest in coming back.

    Malone is better than Woodson but UNC still to struck out. Couldn’t hire an elite college coach and couldn’t land Donovan either. Will probably wish they kept Hubert.

    Great season by Illinois. Extremely talented team maybe only lacking a dominant point guard. UConn will win it Monday night. Probably Hurley’s best coaching job to date. They are just tougher than anyone else right now.

    No coincidence that when we’ve had good teams we had a good point guard. I’d be happy with Burton if he’s healthy

    Kenpom has Illinois at #4 and Purdue at #8. Illinois beat Purdue at Mackey, finished second in conference to Purdue at sixth yet Purdue got the higher seed. I guess it all worked out in the end.
