Anyone noticing the issue with the team so far? Only 1 big and he's not an inside only big at that. Plus, look at these 3 point shooting numbers:

• DeVries - 47% last season (37% career)
• Wilkerson - 45% (40%)
• Bailey - 42% (31%)
• Enright - 33% (37%)

Also recruiting other players who are high percentage 3-point shooters.

How are we going to get the defense to collapse into the paint to make it hard for bigs and driving guards to score with spacing a team like that would make?  Multiple bigs without range surrounded by bad shooters is the way basketball is supposed to be played. Miller and Woodson taught us that.

I would love to know how we pulled this off.  An Arkansas fan site, Wilkerson is from Arkansas, mentioned that Wilkerson had spoken with Kansas (they claim Kansas was pushing very hard), Auburn, Arkansas, SMU, Miss and others, with no mention of IU. They described his game as follows:

If John Calipari were to put out a help wanted sign in the transfer portal for Arkansas, it might look something like this…

I like this. Love Wilkerson.  I’m with AH on this one.  I think we can do better than pack. But if pack becomes a Hoosier I’ll be a pack fan.  Until then I hope we find better.

If Wilkerson comes on board, I definitely like how the team is coming together. Hopefully a big center name enters the portal since I like Bailey at the 4.

I'm going to trust DDV until he proves otherwise. If DDV wants Pack, I do too. If DDV thinks Bailey can play the 5, then I'll trust him.

Regarding Bailey: I like him a lot.....as a stretch 4 with spot 5 minutes.

He is very good in high post/face up/drives. Strong with the ball and finishes through contact. Actually seeks contact but isn't weak going up with it (love that). His 3 point shot is good but very slow at gathering before getting into his shot. He'll need to work on that part of his game. Has a high BBIQ from what I can tell. Don't think you'll see him force crap when a double team comes (Reneau). His defense is an issue but if that can be coached up I think he could certainly play the 5. Bottom line he's going to be a good one that from an offensive standpoint will drive opposing B1G bigs crazy.
