    Being good at football did wonders for Florida and Clemson’s rankings as public schools over time. We’ll hopefully see the same. More applications, more selectiveness, more money to spend on campus…. more scholarships to award to elite in and out of state students and higher caliber graduates which leads to more endowment etc etc. A great cycle to find yourself in.

    Against MSU, ILL, Purdue, UM I’d bet Yigi plays fully alongside the opponents seven-footer and gives us 25+ min. Otherwise I’d love to see essentially an even split

    I don’t care about optics. We’re the king of the mountain and stacked again this year. An upper-echelon P4 opponent would be fun for the fans. I don’t mind announcing something later with a team that looks to be strong. Hosting Wake Forest or Kansas satisfies the stupid P4 thing but does nothing for us. Hell, ODU received votes last year in the final AP poll. Screw ND anyway, the top 12 CFP concession they have is ridiculous.

    I tuned into his pre and post-game pressers for last year’s 56-3 beatdown. He came off snarky toward a few reporter questions, condescending. Kinda similar to that Baylor player who once explained the meaning of a rebound when asked about rebounding disparity. Loser behavior

    Barry Odom is so uninspiring. Lights always seem too bright for him. At Media Day today he flubbed and said there’s 6,000 living Purdue Alumni. Maybe that explains their lack of football success!
