Transfer Portal w IU Interest

I have no animosity towards Leal. I just look at 2 scenarios and favor one of them. Scenario 1 is Leal taking roster spot for 1 year max while not likely playing at all. Scenario 2 is a developmental HS recruit that has flown under the radar and could possibly develop. In Scenario 2 you could have a player that develops over the course of 4 years max or if he doesn't you cut bait after 1 year (same amount of time Leal takes up a roster spot). Just doesn't make sense to bring Leal back for minimal to non-existent role when you could use that resource to try and find a diamond in the rough. Just my 2 cents. -

That's kind of my take as well. When he plays he seems bigger than his measurements. -

He's actually a pretty good shot blocker. Good timing, helps off his man to get blocks and avoids contact doing so. -

I think Alexis will fit the rim protector role and banger role just fine. Would be nice to get another athletic 6'9" or taller player though. -

Good find. Can't shoot to save his life from anywhere but seems to be a good rebounder and at 1.3 bpg he shows some rim protection. Pretty small though to be playing at the 5 in the B1G at 6'9" 205. Could be worth a roster spot for development if that's something he'd be willing to do. -
He played both DE and 3 technique. And he's considered an EDGE in the portal.

As much as I appreciate a short and concise post could you elaborate? We lose an edge rusher and bring in a guy that projects as an edge rusher but he wouldn't be considered a replacement?
-
Wyatt the replacement for Burris I assume?

Respect the hell out of ya but......couldn't disagree more. Have, and I mean HAVE, to make the tourney in year 1. Not only that but I think be comfortably in as a 9 seed or better. Can't accept less from a coach with the payroll we're working with. -
So am I the only one that at first glance thought Tucker was in a wheel chair in this photo? What an awful commitment pic lol

Really just need a 6'10/7' ish big that is bouncy and mobile. Rim running and rim protecting big that can guard 3 positions. Basically only offensive skill needed is to catch lobs and dunk off of p&r. That's assuming we get Conerway. After that get some young guys with potential at PG and wherever else he sees fit. -

He's not unfortunately. He can do it for short stretches and he's not absolutely terrible on defense, he's just not quick enough to guard most 3's. DeVries is good for guarding stretch 4's. -
Lamar Wilkerson is a HOOSIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That did seem to be a trend of sorts last year but not so this year. -
Big city living is for the birds....pigeons especially. Different strokes for different folks. For me? Give me a couple acres of country land, a bonfire under a starry night (light pollution sucks) in a quiet neighborhood and a small/safe community all day. One place I did live for a couple of years that was awesome is Kalamazoo, MI. I lived there during the beginning of the craft beer insurgence. If anyone knows about the Zoo they know that it is a craft beer lover's haven.
