  1. Never done a guillotine league before, this should be fun for one week until I am eliminated
  2. Assuming this injunction is upheld this is the perfect use of the 13th scholarship. I'll admit I was starting to panic seeing a spot unused and the slim depth chart with our bigs, but assuming they had this plan all along I will happily eat crow on my critique for Coach DeVries.
  3. Yeah Schumann had posted on X earlier and had Enright listed with Alexis and Bailey but now I see he's changed it to not include Enright.
  4. I saw Enright was eligible too. I'd take him off the bench in a heartbeat. Would be a lot more reliable than Mondon.
  5. That's just the RoadRage talking
  6. Frustrates me that we always have the foreign kids that are in no rush to get over here. The college game itself is a big adjustment, and moving to the other side of the world has to make it an even bigger challenge. Getting over here in August leaves almost no time to adjust to life in America, let alone develop chemistry with the team and earn the coaches' trust. If Alexis doesn't get his eligibility reinstated we are in desperate need of big man depth and I don't see any way we get it from this kid. Obviously this is all just discussion about this season. Kid could be good down the line, I have no clue. With the portal how it is now, anything past this season is barely worth worrying about for me.
  7. At this point I don't even know what the point is of having Sokolov unless they really view him as a long-term talent. He's not going to be of any help to us this season. Basically another Acimovic situation.
  8. Didn't Baylor (with 2 NBA players mind you) lose in the championship game last year?
  9. These freshmen are really going to push the other guys to be on their A game or risk losing playing time.
  10. 33 and I got it, our history teacher in school made us watch that
  11. I still feel like we're missing a depth big man. After Yigitoglu and Sherrell we don't have another player who can play the 5 if foul trouble or injuries occur. Sokolov isn't even on campus and being a freshman I can't imagine him seeing any serious pt this year and if he does we're probably in big trouble. I know we weren't adding any proven production at that spot but just someone with size and experience at the D1 level would've been what we needed there. Or heck someone with size and experience at the D2 or NAIA level would've been nice. Leaving a scholarship open just seems really dumb to me, especially after how we suffered from lack of depth last season.
  12. To be fair Kam Jones clearly isn't NBA caliber and the 2 picks are just swaps which I doubt even get used. So we basically just swapped one point guard that didn't work out for another. Best case scenario he eventually becomes the successor to TJM. Worst case scenario he is a fun guy to have on the Boom and run that offense. They actually signed him to a 2 way deal so getting rid of Kam Jones who was using a roster spot and making more money was a win altogether.
  13. No lie when CFB25 came out I immediately started a dynasty with IU with the intent of a 10 year rebuild and maybe winning a championship sometime past year 5. I ended up winning in year 2 and at the time it seemed so unrealistic to take IUFB to that level so quickly. I got bored and didn't really play the game much after that. Turns out it was spot on foreshadowing of what was about to happen in real life. Still so unreal we are college football champions.
  14. Booker was so obvious to anyone who watched him play. That rating was always based on potential. Haven't seen anything other than a few highlights on Hill but that frame did give me Booker vibes. Does he play like him? Perimeter oriented?
