Yeah we need him off the mic immediately.  I actually said to one of my clients today about a difficult situation that we just need to get over the hump.  Now I know what the hump is in this situation and know how to get over it, but I was cursing myself in my head when it came out of my mouth :92:

The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

No one is walking away from $8 million like that. He would have to have been given the choice to finish out or retire immediately.

If he actually uttered the words "I quit", that definitely wasn't smart on his part. Not saying he won't get the full amount remaining but he would have less leverage.

I once left a job and told one of the managing directors I was leaving for a new job in a few weeks. Two days later, they let everyone in my division go and paid everyone severances. Guess who didn't get a severance? I know the situation is totally apples to oranges but from a legal perspective, how you leave matters.

Slide deck still sounds weird to me. I guess more people are using Google Slides or Canva, but for me, it will always be PowerPoint.

If it was Beard they would just let Woody finish the season. If we have reached an agreement with someone else we can move on now
Why would it make any difference unless the person is currently not coaching.
