Watching Michigan currently. It cannot be overstated enough, Dolson set the Indiana Basketball program back hiring Woodson / not firing him a year sooner. That being said, I’m 100% okay being a football school now.

You can have six countable coaches on the floor. Only four can be out at once recruiting. Who those four are, can be changeable. Also, with all these new staff additions, they will have to renovate the offices in Cook Hall. There is not enough space for their current staff size.

Hello folks, it's been a while! I've been checking in from time to time on here but have been busy with our own season over here. I must say, I haven't watched a lot of Indiana Basketball this year, the times I did, it was pretty "meh". It was hard to feel a connection to the program this year with a completely new roster and new coaching staff, which was much needed. It's hard to win, it's very hard to win in the B1G, and it's especially hard to win when you have a completely new roster. Making the tournament would be a true accomplishment with that much turnover, being the first four out is honestly impressive in my eyes. With this new "GM" coming in and a year under his belt, I'm confident DD will get this going. Indiana prints money, we're now a football school that has a little basketball here and there. I'm not worried about Indiana Basketball, I don't think anyone should be. The ball was dropped by Dolson by not firing Woodson a year earlier and hiring May, but that's over and we're national champions in football!

Zach just confirmed it on Twitter, Indiana is done this year.

Have had the Indiana celebration games on all afternoon. Rewatched the championship last night and will likely do it tonight as well. -
#1 INDIANA FOOTBALL 2025 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
Trish replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
What a magical year. When I went to the season opener on Labor Day, I never imagined we'd be the national champion. Unreal experience, I wish I were in Bloomington last night. You're all champions today and tomorrow! -
I'm still in shock to what occurred this past Saturday. Curt was the correct hire from the start. What Scott and the President have done to increase funding / general support for the program is outstanding. We've made it this far into the season undefeated, might as well try go for the national championship..

Checking in, didn't get to watch because of YouTube TV. But wow, from what i've heard and clips here and there, this is a style of play that was missed for the last eight years. I need to learn the roster and watch the game, but I'm excited. I can finally enjoy watching the team, the last four years were unwatchable obviously.

(2026) - Vaughn Karvala to INDIANA
Trish replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Congrats to the staff, good momentum heading into the season! -
His mention of the importance of the fan base and playing a style of basketball that people want to watch was great to hear. He's all in on Indiana, within our interaction dozens of people were lining up to meet him.

I met Coach DD at the football game on Saturday. I’m so much more confident in him than I could ever be with Woodson. Darian is the right guy for the job, he has my full support along with the rest of the staff.

I rounded up with the contract extension that was well deserved.

Woody left a stain so bad on the floor of Assembly Hall that they had to completely refinish the court. Thanks Woody and great job to Dolson and Company!

I remember the first rumor of Mike Woodson being hired as the head coach, I knew right away it would be a huge mistake for the basketball program. Here we are, six wasted years and a huge buy-out paid out. Woodson couldn’t land an NBA head job with his enormous wealth of NBA assistant experience. In fact, he was out of the league for a couple season in 2018. The hire was a panic move and to appease the older fan base. There is a fresh air in the basketball offices now, even down to the athletic trainer and strength coach. Darian has the resources to succeed, I’m anticipating Darian having a great career at Indiana than Woodson did as a coach. Happy retirement Coach Woodson, enjoy Sacramento and the NBA life again!

We'll reach 1 million with our next coaching change, national championship, or Bob Knight resurrecting.

Chris, is he shopping at Fresh Thyme yet? Maybe he’s a Krogucci sort of guy. I’m sure he’s enjoying Bloomington more than Morgantown!

Without getting too political, it's absolutely insane than an acting governor can take over replacing seats as they please. Replacing elected trustees doesn't sit right with me. I'm not a fan of Quinn sticking around, he's already set this basketball program back another half a decade getting his buddy hired. As someone mentioned as well, I really hope he stays away from the basketball program, we don't need his guidance, nor does Scott.

It appears we have bullied the SID to post the official press releases. Looks like CDD is still filling out his support staff.

Is anyone going to Puerto Rico? I’ll be there!
