Can't even blame it on the two bigs today.   Comeback came with them in.

But when everything goes right for a ten minute period down the stretch and you blow it in the last minute, I just don't know what to say.

The five guys we had on the court up two where Maryland had to foul....

Reneau 75% free throws

Galloway 65% free throws

Ballo 59% free throws

Leal 57%

We had Mgbako and Goode on the bench (87 and 93%).

But just like Woodson refused to call a timeout earlier to get Goode in the game, he sits on it and then wastes it with a ******* go nowhere play at the end.

I saw Ya bolt across the court taking his jacket off, and Woody trailing before the handshake line. Goode tried to herd them back and at least got woody back to the line.

This really just equals things out for the OSU road game that we should have lost. Some will call this a tough loss and say we should have had it, but that would then need to be a tough win, and one we shouldn’t have gotten. The record is what it says it is. We’re a poorly coached team.

If anything is an Exhibit A for why Mike Woodson should be fired, the last 3:07 is it.

Not having our best foul shooters in when we were up by two. Calling a timeout down by 1 when we had a straight line drive to the basket before the defense could set up. Calling a terrible oOB play…Woodson single handily cost us that game lol and frankly with our schedule coming up, this felt like our chance for a last hurrah. It seems all but over now.

I was thinking about that this morning. Mackey could be every bit as ugly/embarrassing as anything that could happen at home.
