Alford Bailey Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Im betting we dont see much of Leal or Galloway next season especially if we return Franklin or land a similar transfer. Quote

Ideally they'll get plenty of time late in games, with a focus on maintaining leads. hoosierdogg, go iu bb, IUwins0708 and 2 others 5 Quote

That depends how much they improve! Both have real potential, but got a little more run as freshmen than optimal. Hoosierinbham and lillurk 2 Quote

I like both and think either could carve out a role. I am also SO excited to have an IU squad with the depth not to need to depend on a player (or two) who are a year (or two) away from being solid contributors. The overwhelming bulk of minutes will go to players in at least their third year, except whatever time is carved out for a second year 5-star PG. if one of the other underclassmen gets high-leverage minutes, it will be because he earned them. Popular Post HoosierHoopster Posted April 8, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 8, 2021 This won’t be popular but I’m ambivalent about AF leaving. He was extremely high usage, he often took a really high volume of the team’s shots, and he didn’t want to come back when we brought everyone else back to play for a genuinely good NBA coach and IU legacy player who will push the 3-point game and has surrounded himself already with a top flight staff including Fife and of course Matta. You’d rather go try to win now for yourself in another program? Ok, best of luck to you. bigrod, CrimsonCreamer, woodenshoemanHoosierfan and 15 others 17 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 He's leaving because he wanted to wear No. 4. ... C'mon, Khristian -- you just cost us our best shooting guard! HoosierSadaseci 1 Quote
theriverpilot Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Wishing Armaan luck at UVA. I think he’ll do well there. With that said, I’m assuming another SG would be nice to use with one of our 2 scholarships left. A good opportunity to upgrade the position like we did with Xavier Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners NVFalcons1990, HoosierTrav, JaybobHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote
Trish Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Our best shooter has left. Woody has his work cut out for him this summer. Earn that check Mr. Woodson Quote
monskisprodigy Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Well, that sucks...but life goes on. Wish him nothing but the best, and hope he succeeds at UVA. Who are we on in the portal to fill that hole? Quote
