Last time IU got the benefit of the doubt late calls at home? Sure there are examples but it’s been a while since it’s been the house of calls. Coming against Wisky I’m here for all of them this time around

Wisconsin owes us a few hundred calls over the last 20 years.

Made one bucket in the final 10:32. And we still won. Wow.

So was the charge. We stole a win in a lot of ways, but not via those two calls. Nice to see correct calls being made without the situation interfering.

By the way; that Wisconsin team that we beat today is damn good. And we beat them while making only five threes. Anyone that has the “I suppose I’ll take it, but” assessment is not grounded in the reality that it’s really hard to beat good teams when shots aren’t falling. And that’s what we just did.

He and Enright were pretty fantastic.

I just watched it on replay after being out at noon… YES WATCH IT FOR SURE! Best game of the season—Wisconsin played great and made tons of shots. Serious gut check win when we couldn’t make shots. And yes; the refs were VERY generous. Very, very VERY generous. Finally? Sam Alexis. The day belongs to many, but above all? Sam Alexis.

Take it and move on. This team is not talented enough for me to criticize a win.

Yea. We live to fight another day, which is good. And double good we beat Wiscy, we owe them one and it's still not close to even. I don't feel much better about this team, but is what it is. On the sunshine pump side, is D-Rock an OT specialist? He had a good OT record prior to IU. Also, a nice crowd today. Our "toxic" fans were very good.

Won another one without Conerway and with Dorn in the lineup. Dorn didn’t play great but the opposing team spends so much time covering him, Wilkerson and Devries that it opens the lane up for guys like Alexis and Enright. I don’t see any anyway you can get away from this starting lineup at this point, even though it was really ugly down the stretch.

It was crucial to get that one single bucket in the last 10 minutes…

The foot may have contributed to the foul being called, but with 2.8 seconds left, if it were called on us... we'd be screaming bloody murder and ripping our hair out blaming the ref. Wouldn't fault Wiscy fans for feeling that way. Straight up fugly 15 minutes of basketball from mid way through H2 to end of OT. But a win is a win is a win. Take care of business against Oregon and we're well on track.

I think the foul on Wilkerson at the end might have been a little questionable. But that definitely was a charge on Boyd. He lowered his shoulder and pushed off. These Fox dudes don't know what they're talking about.

Man -- that was a terrible possession by Bucky. You can do a lot more in 2.8 seconds than take a dribble and heave it from 55 feet.

Which one? The call on Blackwell was absolutely a foul. Not even really debatable.

The call on Blackwell guarding Lamar looks very different from a different angle. Blackwell stepped on Lamar’s heel and then kicked him in the leg:

I can’t begin to describe my emotions the last 30 minutes of that game. This game was critical. Thought for sure we pissed it away twice. My goodness. We needed it so bad. Home friendly calls in the final 2 possessions without question. My goodness.

Great win. This team didn’t like to make it easy on the fans, but they keep finding ways to pull out these wins. The team has grit and toughness, which speaks well of Coach Devries. Make the tournament, get some momentum going into the portal, and add some talent to build up heading into next year.

Even worse, they had 2 timeouts. Toss it to half court, use one and get a real shot with 1.5-2 sec left.

Didn't see this one coming. Hoosiers pound #25 O$U 12-3 for their second win of the season. 13 hits for the women led by Hannah Haberstroh with 3 and 4 others with 2 each. Haberstroh and Alex Cooper each with 3 RBI. We were aided by 4 Buckeye errors that contributed to 4 of our 12. Taylor Hess pitched the entire 5-inning run shortened game giving up 8 hits but didn't walk anyone. Play 2 more today before returning to Bloomington. Next weekend they'll be in Tempe, AZ for 5-games in the Littlewood Invitational. Delaware at 11:15 on FloSoftball Stonehill at 1:30 on FloSoftball

Winning this kind of close game was all the more satisfying because this is the type of close games we always lose to Wisconsin. The kind that drive you insane and want to rip your hair out. I want those stupid cheese heads to feel that.

Yeah zero sympathy. Kohl Center is worse than purgatory.

Btw great individual D on Blackwell on his drive and shot at end of regulation— thought he was going to win it for the cheese heads but the D forced him into a weak shot.

Putting North Carolina in over West Virginia still bothers me. West Virginia was 6-11 in Q1 games with neutral court wins over Arizona and Gonzaga at full strength however even after Tucker was out for the year they still beat Iowa St at home and won on the road at Kansas down 2 starters. I didn’t even have West Virginia on the bubble. If DeVries is close to the cut line they should put him in just for the screw job they did on him last year
