I have no inside info but I would be absolutely shocked if Ware is in an IU uniform next year. Most mocks have him as a top 20 pick right now. Malik isn’t going to the nba this year so we just gotta make sure the big fella is happy and well compensated. mgbako is interesting because I think he would benefit from staying but also seems like he wants to get to the league as fast as possible.

I happen to be in the Bay Area visiting my wife’s family, and heard TJD speaking on a pregame show last night. When asked about his early success, he immediately gave credit to Woodson. TJD said the concepts Woodson taught as well as running the offense through him and letting him make decisions are why he’s having the success in the NBA he is now. It was a ringing endorsement. Hopefully that message gets to Queen.

Watching high school players trying to win Oscars. Kid hits an opponent like Butkus sacking a QB and then gives him a Greg "The Hammer" Valentine elbow drop. Ref calls a foul and the kid throws up his hands saying "what'd I do?" And this season it seems the girls are getting just as bad. Girl breaks the opponent's fingernail; tells her she has bad hair; opponent bursts into tears; ref calls a foul; hands go up "what'd I do?"

And the ugly divorce scenario is the absolute last thing this program needs. The next coach needs to be coming into a stable situation with everything he needs for success, mainly so he doesn't get a built-in excuse of needing time to fix things. If we push Woodson out the door and it gets ugly, then we've basically wasted three more years.

After making the tournament in his first 2 seasons, with a possible 3rd, would you really move on from Woodson if he weren’t ready to hang up his whistle? That seems like a possible ugly divorce scenario

Indiana would be pretty dumb to just keep Woody around another 2-3 years instead of going for the who knows with May. Woody is just a temporary guy. Basically an interim. He doesn't need to last past 5 or 6 years unless he's put Indiana on the level of Duke, Kentucky, UNC, Kansas, Zona etc.

That’s never an easy game for whatever reason. But overall I like your groupings. The reality is we’ll drop one or two of the ones we’re supposed to win and upset one or two of the teams we shouldn’t beat. It’ll probably be in that tossup category where the difference is. Go 4-6 and we might be in trouble. Go 6-4 and we’re close to a lock.

Worried about our ceiling with Holmes. To me she is clearly less athletic than pre-injury last year. Mediocre bigs are forcing her into turnovers regularly.

Biggest issue is that the university is bleeding $ as no one is showing up to their games.

Excellent defensive effort as well.

Why do people keep thinking Gunn and Sparks will be good bench players. I’m not even sold on Banks either

This has been the type of defensive effort that we needed heading into conference play. We have taken BG completely out of their comfort zone.

Indiana needs to be making that call and talking to Woodson about a possible plan. If May is that dude... Can't think about the short amount of time Woody will be around compared to the length of time May could be around.

College basketball and the NBA would be better to get the talent when it’s ready. TJD is the example of that this year. McCullar and Shannon Jr are good examples this year. I don’t know where those 2 will get drafted but whatever team gets them will be better because of it. Instead they will try to find the shiny object that likely doesn’t turn into what they hope.
