Not one Woodson team has gotten better as the season progresses. He makes almost no adjustments, he either can’t or doesn’t teach his archaic defense. He has none of the hallmarks of a head coach. IU had to come back 2 times in Woodson’s tenure to even have the “success” he had. They lose to Michigan in the BTT they are probably a 3 seed in the NIT. The home game vs Michigan on TJDs last home game as a Hoosier. IU loses that game they probably are a 6/7 seed in the BIG Ten tourney and 7 seed in the NCAA tourney. So yeah basically he isn’t good. Make the new coach demonstrate he has coaching chops before pouring a bunch of money in.
WeeDerkaNaut Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 So the schedule projection/line has us facing Ohio State twice. Once away, once at home. Says we're going to lose the away by three but win the home by five. Watching this Ohio State vs Kentucky game(Like Woodson SHOULD BE doing but I guarantee isn't) to see what we're up against and I gotta tell ya, we're not beating them either game and it won't be close. Chalk that up to two losses. AZ Hoosier and tkbbn 1 1

A good bball coach would make up the difference, and let’s be honest putting $ into that program has yielded very little in 30+ years. Recruit high IQ Indiana kids, higher a less is more coach, and spend $ on football and win titles. The powers that be over Mens Basketball have failed us. I think nobody even cared we played today. He is good enough to just do what they do better than whoever it is. Which is really crazy considering the legandary coach he played for was probably the most prepared coach ever to walk the sidelines of a basketball court. No idea if it's been common or not, but I do know certain coaches historically would try to get their players a game in their home state during their 4 year career. Dean Smith was one. I went to watch Eric Montross play at Butler b/c of it.

I’m guessing he knows roughly half or maybe 2/3’s. Only shot he has is if they’re born on a fairway or near a clubhouse. Juwan Moye, cybergates, Rico and 2 others 3 2

The only way to inject some life into this program is to remove the guy who is stepping on its throat. Everyone wants him gone...well almost everyone, but I see absolutely no one on this staff that wouldn't make this a bigger clown show. The best scenario, which won't happen, is for Dolson to have a sit down with Miserable Mike and to layout that he is gone after the season, and to explain the most gracious way and best way to go about it would be to announce, near the start of the B1G conference play season, that he has set this team on the right path ( an ego saving lie), but he is going to move on to his next phase of life after the season. That allows him to be the (fake) controller of his destiny and also lets prospective hires have their agents put out feelers and for IU to get a head start on vetting such. Again, way too much common sense to ever happen unfortunately OKHOOSIER, thebigweave, bird4par and 6 others 9
