I think we will get a lot of individual lawsuits vs the NCAA if that happens. I am curious to see if anyone else try the route TKR is taking.

This is the problem we can’t have. It has to be all or nothing.

Ya we have guys leaving certain state suits to go join other state suits where they believe they have better chances of winning. I think though after a couple states eventually back the players you almost have to let them play. It will just turn into lawsuit after lawsuit.

What funny about all this is…. If these 5th year guys got to come back it raises the competitive balance. Creating more $$$$. Look at Grand Canyon. Personally would be more fun with the 5th year. Like I said what happens when some kids get to play and some don’t. It will be lawsuit after lawsuit.

If let’s say 3/4 states start to side with the players… Do courts just start following that path. You can’t truly have like 4/5 states allow this and the others not right? Like I feel like Indiana is at a disadvantage because the NCAA resides in the state of Indiana. Would the court risk something like a case siding with the players over NCAA in its own territory. Truly if 4/5 states start winning this could get ugly. Those that don’t get a 5th year have every right to sue at that point.

The NCaA is going to appeal the TRO… I totally see the NcAA losing. Going to be interesting once a couple states start siding with the players.

Wonder if this starts turning the tide with college players eligibility. It truly is going to come down to what state you live in.

Sounds 2 or 3 states will hear back their 5 year eligibility today. Curious to see what the states South Carolina and Kentucky do. If they side with the players this week could be something.

Really curious to see what happens WHEN a state actually sides with the players. I think once 1 state sides with the players I think that’s where more and more and more lawsuits start coming

What I find funny about this whole situation is… Most of these 5th year guys would generate more excitement to these programs. Possibly generating more revenue/ratings. Also I think it’s leveling the competitive balance. Having Sam Alexis I think we are a true top 6 in the Big 10 team. As a fan of Indiana University basketball I would love to have Sam Alexis back and rather have him than not.

That’s the problem we won’t get Alexis but 2/3 other states players will win and get those players. Yigi will have to step up

I think this is the problem. It won’t be that way. (2-3 states will grant it.) If I were IU I go ahead with the guys on the team. Im guessing Alexis probably won’t win. Just need to plan for life without him.

At this point. Either you ban the entire 2022 or clear them. If one or two states end up winning and the rest lose… These kids will sue until they’re 30-40. Still trying to find the reason to prevent this. When you have some college players playing on a 6th/7th year
