Same. Living down in SEC country it is cool to where my IU gear and have people stop and ask about the team. It would be nice to have both but If I had to choose one to be a perennial top 10-15 team I would choose the football Hoosiers.

The contract still has a huge difference in buyouts. Still easy for him to leave but hard for IU to fire him.

Indiana's $11 million assistant salary pool is a MONSTER number. According to a report, Ohio State this season bumped its assistant salary pool to $11.43 million, the highest in the nation. So yeah, there is clear commitment from IU in investing in football.

Yep.

For all the $$$ we have committed I find his buyout number surprisingly small. Any traditional power/SEC team etc can come with that cash without breaking a sweat. I expected it be at least 27-30mm.
