Still trust our insiders but I hope Dolson has some respect for IU here. We can't just wait and see what happens with Brad and the NBA playoffs. Hope he didn't say "here's our offer, we'll wait until we see what happens with the NBA playoffs" You have to be willing to walk away. Offers shouldn't be open ended. I want Brad as much as the next but if he doesn't want to come, and if the huge offer we (allegedly) threw at him isn't enough - goodbye.

You can't just take the job whenever you want, Brad.

Yeah, if Stevens is as upstanding as everyone says, it's hard to imagine him being that definitive if he thinks he's going to take the job.

There are denials like he gave the other day, and then there is what was just published, which is more clear and vehement then anything previously. Maybe he pulls a Saban? But idk.

To be honest, if this is true and Brad doesn't want the job after being offered $7 million a year to come home then screw it... go get someone who actually WANTS the job.

I mean this thread was entertaining and everything but if you actually though he’d leave Boston to come here you are delusional. No other word for it. It was never a possibility. Even IF he got fired in Boston he’d get another head coaching chance somewhere else. We aren’t that enticing of a job for elite talent. Time to come to terms with that.
