Been trying to keep up here this morning.  I had a dentist appointment to get a crown (skypoint to Woody) put on.  At each break I am frantically trying to read stuff here.  Dentist even asked me one time what you so interested in there man?  I said you wouldn't believe me even if I told you

This does make me feel better about DeVries.  Ready to roll if he's the guy.

Getting a sitting young Power 5 coach would be a good look for IU.   DeVries would be a solid choice and I believe he was on my original list of coaches I wanted IU to seriously look at.   If it’s him then IU will have an actual college basketball coach running their program again.    Get this wrapped up Scott I got some First 4 to focus on tonight

Nobody has to start begging for DeVries or Collins or whomever but please note that the folks ‘round here who are plugged in, watch a lot of hoops, and will dig deep on a candidate pretty much universally agree they make sense and are good coaches.

I think it’s totally fair to criticize but please bring something substantive, not just grumbling about how famous someone isn’t.

Is Darian Devries a sexy hire?  maybe not but given his track record mentioned above he'd be a good hire.  only 49 years old too so the potential to be a core foundation here for a long time.

It's pretty similar to what Dusty May did with FAU minus the magical final 4 run

If Devries is the coach with the resources he would have at IU, our days of living on the bubble would be few and far between
