rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 It is especially tough to win in the Barn and ANY win on the road in the Big Ten is great. Way to go Hoosiers! As ticked as I was after Wiscy-They made up for it tonight against a better team. Go Hoosiers!Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Stuhoo, Str8Hoosiers and VO5 3 Quote

Uspshoosier Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 I had a bad feeling that those last 3 minutes or so of the first half was going to be our undoing, but the right guys played and kept playing hard. It also felt like this team really liked the pace the game was played at. Question for anyone who knows: Is the Hurt kid that plays for MN the brother of Matthew (who I hope was there)?Yes it is his brother and yes he was there watching both teams since both are active in his recruitment Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER, southsidehoosier, IUsafety and 4 others 7 Quote

Great win guys! Fine, feel free to criticize. But what he doesn't deserve after a loss is people questioning if he is the right guy for the job. It's just way too early for those kind of judgments. Popular Post Magnanimous Posted January 7, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 7, 2018 These next two games are big. We have Penn State and Northwestern, both at home. We win those and we're suddenly sitting at 4-2 in the conference. The rest of the conference slate should be hit or miss, but win these next two and tighten up our lineup with Smith getting heavier minutes, and we may just finish this season on a positive note. Could you imagine if we got nine conference wins this season? Crean didn't win his ninth conference game until his fourth year... IUBBFan1970, CR3AMnCR1MS0N, VO5 and 7 others 10 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 One thing I really like about Archie is that he isn't afraid to play players heavy minutes. Crean would often have his top players only getting 27-28 minutes and it would drive me insane. VO5, Trish, IUBBFan1970 and 1 other 4 Quote

Crean didn't win his ninth conference game until his fourth year...1) the Big Ten is DOWN2) 4-2 would be awesome3) we could end up 2-4 or 4-2. I wouldn't be surprised if we went 0-3 or 3-0 in our next 2 home games4) the bumps aren't over 5) energy and effort can win a fair amount of games the rest of the way. I'm not sure intelligence can be injected into this bunch. (See: 10 second call without pressure) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app cthomas and thebigweave 2 Quote
