I want to win really bad, but I hate anytime a kid gets hurt and cannot compete. I know it's part of the game and we have our share of impact guys out with injury, but it still sucks for the kids.

Updates on the Demond situation. Dellenger constantly does a good job sourcing info. An update thread on the Demond Williams situation with Washington, per sources to @YahooSports: - Williams signed a one-year rev-share agreement with UW worth about $4M. - The agreement is a Big Ten template document used by all league members and built for situations like this. - The agreement (1) prohibits a player from entering the portal once signed (this is why UW is refusing to enter his name into the portal) and (2) prohibits the player’s NIL rights to be used by any other school, though the player can sign outside marketing agreements. - Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti, coincidentally in Seattle this week for a memorial service, is heavily involved in the matter, along with other Big Ten officials. The league is standing behind UW’s fervent approach to the contract. - Washington officials are expected to communicate later today with Demond Williams’ representatives regarding the situation and next steps. - With UW refusing to enter Williams’ name into the portal, he is not permitted to hold conversations with other programs. - UW officials suspect that Williams has already held conversations with other programs and the school plans to submit any tampering evidence to the league and NCAA. - LSU is believed to be the school most interested in Williams. Heard a couple of things I liked yesterday. 1) Joel Klatt said that IU/Mendoza have run the highest percentage of rpo’s in the nation. The team with the second highest percentage of rpo plays? TCU/Hoover !! Me likee. Even though Cig has shown that he can adapt the system to the QB there will be little need to adapt next year as Hoover should fit into the current system like a glove. 2) Jim Coyle knows Hoover from the first recruitment and he mentioned telling Hoover he would like him to be on his show. Hoovers response was that he would go on the show but not until IU’s season was over. Perfect answer/move by Hoover.

This guy has NFL level punting stats. A 46.2 yard avg, with 25 punts inside the 20, and only 2 touchbacks is very impressive.

I’ve always felt a little bit bad for the kid because he’s pretty clearly never liked basketball in his life and he just plays for what it brings the family. 100% certain he would have been happier as the tallest saxophone player in the Cathedral Marching Band.

During the broadcast on Sunday, they were saying that CDD wanted more cutting and slashing to the basket. This team plays much better when the ball is moving which is a better product to watch also.

I think our offense really gets going when Wilkerson is more aggressive penetrating and not always settling for 3's. Helps space things for the other guys, gets the defense moving side-to-side and creates easier drives for guys like Conorway when the ball is reversed. He's done it some, but would like to see Wilkerson play like that even more.

Reading the comments makes it seem like it will be a battle between us and Texas.

If we win this one we're 3-1 in conference. Admittedly not having played any top-tier teams, but nevertheless in a good place.

We win this one...I will have a lot more belief in this team. Id really like to see us obviously hit our shots, but really try to get some good cuts to the basket.....Conerway and Wilkerson would be ideal....also if Bailey is gonna play he has got to finish strong around the rim.

He is technically still part of the ownership of the Mavericks, so I don't know if there are any conflicts of interests in him giving to the basketball program of a university. I do know he met Cig after that Notre Dame game a year ago, and he decided he was all in on IUFB.

That kid is so physically ahead of his class it’s almost unbelievable. From the neck down he’s a 25yo man. During the summer was trying to come up with kid that far ahead and the last 1 I could think of was Dwight Howard.

Such a coaching problem in college. They love to start their actions at 8 or so and unless you’ve got some kid like Acuff who can go get a look on anyone you end up with trash like that an alarming % of the time. Start your stuff at 12 and just run your action. Yeah, if you score at 4 or 5 they get to run down and throw up a 30 footer. I’ll take my freaking chances with that one.
