  1. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/48941923/hall-fame-basketball-coach-rick-adelman-dies-79 RIP
  2. #1 until someone knocks them off the top of the mountain!!
  3. Very little off season training or workouts were taking place till the 80s, and if Wilt would do that with the nutrition of today, he would be a beast down low. I say he would still find time for his "extra curricular activities" on the town that he was known for. The dude was a freak of nature back then.
  4. I am going with he is beat from his first college level practice.
  5. Picks from 5 to about 8 are all basically PGs, and the Pacers would probably have gone Mara with Halliburton coming back. Personally, I would have love to seen them at 4 to get Wilson. Sigh
  6. https://www.espn.com/tennis/story/_/id/48912435/djokovic-25th-slam-bid-ends-french-open-loss-fonseca The Joker lost today after winning the first 2 sets. Rough tournament for the high ranked guys.
  7. Do they normally play games on back to back days? I was thinking that they would take a day or 2 between games.
  8. I listened to this yesterday afternoon going from Boonville into Evansville for work, and it was a good conversation. I don't care for Ted Cruz much, but you can tell that he seems to care about trying to do something to stabilize college sports. He is probably right that the increase of the money could cause a lot of schools to cut a lot of programs including football. It is good conversation, and I think it is something that is really needed.
  9. From everything you read and see, he seems like a great kid. I would love to see him excel in the next 4 years.
  10. Sinner was getting cramps or heat exhaustion at the Aussie Open when they closed the roof which allowed the place to cool off and win. They don't have a roof at Roland Garros. The Joker had a problem with this early in his career and got it figured out, so Sinner will have to do the same.
  11. FYI, SGA is suing Underdog for a game mocking his foul baiting. It is probably more off of using his likeness, but it is pretty clear they are mocking him. https://sports.yahoo.com/nba/article/shai-gilgeous-alexanders-lawyers-reportedly-send-cease-and-desist-to-underdog-sports-over-foul-baiting-board-game-131824780.html
  12. It's a huge problem. I was watching Thunder @ Spurs the other night, and they called a foul on the guy guarding SGA. The dude was literally standing straight up on a jump shot with SGA's foot tapped his leg, and SGA fell to the floor. They called the foul on the defender with him just with his hands up. He didn't touch him outside of the foot tapping his leg. It is getting out of hand kinda like Brunson's dreads go flying when he gets tapped as if he got shot. It is pretty bad.
  13. One is not like the other 6 anymore.
  14. I like the way in the media Q&A video, he tells them that he stays in his lane. Tell him what the rules are, and he will go to work. He is right in that they have reign in the amount of money being thrown around.
  15. The Feds are about the only thing that can actually calm down the changing environment, but I can see all kinds of lawsuits going against the one time transfer rule to test the law if it does come about. The pooling of rights will be interesting seeing the B1G and SEC have their own, and everyone else can collectively pool their rights.
