  1. https://www.espn.com/tennis/story/_/id/48912435/djokovic-25th-slam-bid-ends-french-open-loss-fonseca The Joker lost today after winning the first 2 sets. Rough tournament for the high ranked guys.
  2. Do they normally play games on back to back days? I was thinking that they would take a day or 2 between games.
  3. I listened to this yesterday afternoon going from Boonville into Evansville for work, and it was a good conversation. I don't care for Ted Cruz much, but you can tell that he seems to care about trying to do something to stabilize college sports. He is probably right that the increase of the money could cause a lot of schools to cut a lot of programs including football. It is good conversation, and I think it is something that is really needed.
  4. From everything you read and see, he seems like a great kid. I would love to see him excel in the next 4 years.
  5. Sinner was getting cramps or heat exhaustion at the Aussie Open when they closed the roof which allowed the place to cool off and win. They don't have a roof at Roland Garros. The Joker had a problem with this early in his career and got it figured out, so Sinner will have to do the same.
  6. FYI, SGA is suing Underdog for a game mocking his foul baiting. It is probably more off of using his likeness, but it is pretty clear they are mocking him. https://sports.yahoo.com/nba/article/shai-gilgeous-alexanders-lawyers-reportedly-send-cease-and-desist-to-underdog-sports-over-foul-baiting-board-game-131824780.html
  7. It's a huge problem. I was watching Thunder @ Spurs the other night, and they called a foul on the guy guarding SGA. The dude was literally standing straight up on a jump shot with SGA's foot tapped his leg, and SGA fell to the floor. They called the foul on the defender with him just with his hands up. He didn't touch him outside of the foot tapping his leg. It is getting out of hand kinda like Brunson's dreads go flying when he gets tapped as if he got shot. It is pretty bad.
  8. One is not like the other 6 anymore.
  9. I like the way in the media Q&A video, he tells them that he stays in his lane. Tell him what the rules are, and he will go to work. He is right in that they have reign in the amount of money being thrown around.
  10. The Feds are about the only thing that can actually calm down the changing environment, but I can see all kinds of lawsuits going against the one time transfer rule to test the law if it does come about. The pooling of rights will be interesting seeing the B1G and SEC have their own, and everyone else can collectively pool their rights.
  11. Yeah, a former Apple designer helped with the design? That explains a lot, but 0-60 in 2.4 seconds shows the mechanical is on point.
  12. OKC has the picks to do it with like 13 first rounders in the next 5 years along with about as many 2nd rounders. If they wanted Giannis, they can send Holmgren and 2 of each round. I bet they would get him.
  13. I saw where he was put in the hospital for an illness, and he wasn't going to race this weekend. I suppose it was a pretty serious illness. Best wishes to his family.
  14. "Black was not invited to the NFL Draft Combine but ended up being the third overall running back selected. I want to see him kick some butt behind McCaffery.
  15. Jones as the top LB in the B1G and the 2nd ranked in the country? It is amazing how much different the talking heads are giving respect to IU after winning the Natty. It feels good to be respected.
  16. Did she just finish her 8th grade year and is putting up those numbers? She is one to keep an eye on.
  17. Does he have 4 years or just the one graduate year? LOL I would take him either way.
  18. Wow, he seems to be a good pickup.
  19. In his first year and will be working with Rodgers in his last year. He better soak up all the knowledge he can from the annoying but HOF QB.
  20. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/48831953/ed-orgeron-returning-lsu-assistant-lane-kiffin-staff Well, Orgeron is back at LSU for "special assistant to recruiting and defense". Let's see how this turns out.
  21. Ok, now is the time to start showing up for real now. Show them that IU belongs.
  22. Getting him to live in the weight room will be their main focus for him. He has the size, but he will need to be strong.
  23. He used a picture of X? Being from the Chicago area, Isiah would've been the go to, but X? If he has the motor that X played with, I suppose I get that. He would be a great get, but we are fighting with a lot of other teams for him.
  24. I can live with him wanting to play like Austin Reaves.
  25. Well, they got the right guy for Vegas. After doing this, if he shows up to the clubhouse with the sunglasses on from a rough night, you know someone will post a picture of it.
