So Rhonda Rousey is beating you with inches of your life and you gotta just take it?

Dealing in absolutes is stupid.

Not to get off track, but I’m just hoping I can put run her.

The charges weren’t dropped because they were bogus. They were dropped because the State wasn’t going to waste valuable time and money prosecuting a case without a credible witness. That’s why nearly half of all DV cases go unprosecuted.

Texas is a no-mandatory arrest state when it comes to domestic violence which means they aren’t obligated to arrest one or both parties unless clear and physical evidence exists.

I'm talking about me. Literally me, what happened with me. Not Beard. The situation you just quoted happened to me.

what are we doin here man

I couldn't believe how much chatter there was on this board when Beard got arrested and I can't believe there's this much back and forth about it now. Incredible, really.

Did you read the police report? That will give you the publicly available info you’re asking for. If you want to know every intimate detail, consider hiring a private investigator instead of anonymous message board posters. Innocent until proven guilty, like your right to freedom of speech, does not mean there are no consequences for bad behavior/pushing limits. Your employer can choose to fire you for something you say, the government won’t prosecute words alone unless it’s a threat. The government chose not to press charges on Beard, UTexas hired a private investigator and fired him for cause. Probably because “what really happened” which you’re dying to know… was, in fact, bad.

I’ll go back to church now, I guess.

I'm not the one claiming to know. Which is why I was asking questions. I'm certain what happened that evening, like I mentioned, was bad.

I want to know what happened before I say... "no, he's the devil" fully. Sorry that bothers you?

I read the police report. I feel like if I'm Dolson and Beard actually wants this job as bad as he says he does... he's going over in very vivid detail what happened that evening.

Nobody has called him the devil or claimed to know every detail. Just that they don’t want him to coach here based on the facts available. You have a blessed day

Ok? Your situation had nothing to do with Beard's situation? What relevant point were you trying to make? Because you were falsely arrested he might have been falsely arrested?

Yeah that's not what happened.

I think Beard is in play, but he is not ahead of Stevens or May. I think there are a couple of other people ahead of him, also. I think tomorrow will be interesting for many different reasons. I have no inside information about tomorrow just seems like a lot is going on. Hopefully for everyone involved this nightmare is over soon.

Tomorrow is the trade deadline, which means Stevens will be free thereafter to become interim head coach. :)

I don't think some of us are even necessarily pro beard. We just think someone is afforded the right to a trial before being found guilty. But if beard got some of the guys on here on his jury he would be toast. There is zero chance they could be unbiased. They already have their minds made up.
