Screw all this talk about letting him retire on his terms, so he can step away gracefully.

We're in this position all because he made it known his feelings were hurt he never got an interview 8 years ago, even though he never deserved one.

The guy was in it for himself. All ego, literally no results ever. Wants the job title, but not the work that comes with it. Loves the recognition, but can't deal with the fans who criticize his approach. 

Fire him. Never let this loser step into Assembly Hall again.

Yeah and Ewing had the benefit of circling the drain in front of 14 people. We’ll still draw 10k and they’ll boo him into oblivion. It was teetering for a couple weeks there but he’s officially lost the masses in the gym and this is going to get really, really ugly.

Let Walsh Hulls Kenya and Ya run it by committee and then do a hard reset when this year is over. I think Armond would head out with Woody and Calbert might too based on things said here and other places?

I thought the odds of a mid-season termination were very low but if we get smoked in our next two games, both road games, things are so toxic that the administration might not want him coaching another home game.
Lose at OSU and NW by 20 or so….who knows, he might get fired.

50 year basketball career and it’s gonna end with his school’s fanbase hating him. 

Dumbest mistake he ever made was not leaving after two years when tjd made him look somewhat average.

those are the two realistic choices in order if you ask me. Both would be 100% place holders for the off-season coaching search and one should be in that position by next week if our administration has any sense.

This is beyond sad to watch and everyone, including Woody knows it.

Nor sure why so many are saying no chance! Did you watch the game. They booed the team hard. The fans left at the half! They chanted to fire the coach. This level of toxic has to end. Imo it will be a miracle if he survives much longer. Fisch said he hasn't seen the team booed like that and said a couple of times how upset the fans are leaving. Nobody would put someone through what is coming imo. They are definitely realizing the mistake made by keeping him and probably in serious talks on how to best move forward and remedy this situation. I believe that answer will involve moving forward somehow that won't involve mike woodson
