Indiana vs Undue Purversity, Thursday, 7:00 pm

Could not disagree more.
I’m an old dude that was a freshman during the undefeated ‘75-76 season. We had a ton of great games and “expected” big wins.
These kids, however,  have endured 2/3/4 years of completely soulless “Archie Ball”. They have literally gone through a nuclear winter of IU basketball. I’m very glad they are having a great time. Storm the court if you want, party and miss class tomorrow. Have fun!!!!!

A little younger but not only did we never think to rush the floor but while we could get loud RMK would not have wanted that. Now, these kids have no idea what being legit blue chip programs is. Now I did rush the field and help take down goal posts for football so maybe I am just a little prone to the craziness

If Woody wasn’t a class act he would start a text convo with Crean and Archie and ask them how they celebrated their first win against Purdue.  It would be hilarious but woody is to classy for that.

Love it.  :)

Holy shite. Ivey had 17 of his 21 points in the first 10 minutes of the second half while Galloway sat. He shoved Galloway out of frustration because he couldn’t stand him being in his face which is EXACTLY what we want. Galloway should have started the second half.

Aside from that.  GREAT night. Low number of TO’s, Rob was out of his mind and we would have been in really bad shape without big Michael Durr tonight. Durr did exactly what he was brought in for.

Completely agree

The block me man. Frankly I am tired of people complaining about my posts. Don’t like it block me.  Otherwise quit complaining like a 4 year old. All I was say that Woodson is going to be hungry for the game in Lafayette but if you want to read that as negative go right on ahead and click that block button. Or grow up and learn to entertain views that are different than yours

EVERYONE.

MICHAEL DURR PLAYED A DAMN GOOD GAME TONIGHT. WE DONT COME CLOSE WITHOUT THIS MAN. THAT IS ALL.

Yep. When he committed I hope he could do more against other teams but really hoped he would be able to help some against PUs frontline. He was much better than expected

I feel like Durr was very much recruited for our games against Purdue more than anything. Paid off big for sure

Galloway was on Ivey last possession too. Stewart wasn’t even close to staying with him. Phin played him slightly better. Galloway played him best.

Catch 22, we need Kopp and Stewart hitting 3s, but they bring little else. I’m liking minutes going to Galloway and Geronimo.

Kopp just doesn't move the needle for me.

The upside doesn't match the downsides.

Time and a place for him depending on team matchup, but I think overall Geronimo and Galloway need to steal his minutes, and provide a much bigger "tude" impact to the team.

Assembly call guys pointed something out about Kopp. And that’s his defense can’t be outweighed by his offense if he isn’t getting shots.  And it’s so true. If we aren’t going to make it a point to get him shots on offense there’s no point in playing him and hindering our D

Ivey is tough and close to unguardable. I think Parker does well on defense in tight spaces but does not have foot speed. Trey is better but once he gets the ball he is either a layup, foul or turnover. Pain may be the best we have.

Both Galloway and Geronimo need — and deservedly are getting — more minutes

The flip side is we need one of Stew — an excellent shooter — or Kopp - a generally consistent, good outside shooter, on the floor for spacing.
But — as a team we’re not shooting many 3’s

I’d go with having Stew or Kopp (i prefer Stew) start, add Galloway or Geronimo.

Regardless, finish the game, as we now do, with Galloway.

Yup. Aside from his FT shooting, there's simply nothing compelling about his game.

Galloway and Geronimo both provide energy and boosts the team as a whole.

Not saying there isn't a time and place for Kopp, but he certainly shouldn't have the 3rd most minutes.
