I never imagined seeing How I Met Your Mother referenced here. I loved the show but hated the ending so much I haven’t watched it since. 
 

I’ve seen some Ron Swanson gifs and feel like we’ve been him the last few years where Brad Steven’s is Ben Wyatt.

Well any other name that has been listed as being a strong candidate is in the process of signing or has signed an extension, the McCollum news seems to be his agent trying to pressure Iowa to not hire Devries, and the people that haven't been contacted (Wade, Cronin and McDermott) seem to indicate that it was someone high on the list and they didn't get far down it to find the coach.
