On this point as well, McCollum follows no other Hoosiers players or commits.  Beard and Brownell follow no IU players or commits.  Beard follows our Russian asset Benny Johnson on down to Sage and DD.  That’s as far left as his follower list goes.  Follows IU soccer and ITH, but otherwise mainly right wing figures as much as college hoops people.  No way could he live north of the Mason-Dixon.  Brownell is sort of all over the place.  McCollum seems to be more deliberate with whom he follows.

Plane guy who Stu (i think) said was reliable said the Clark county flight isn’t until tomorrow  (this is if I’m remembering everything correctly). So thinking possible legit leak today followed by the IU announcement tomorrow? Just thinking aloud.

Goodman and the rest of Field of 68, Sleepers, Rabjohns, and everyone else covering the sport went from "You gotta call Brad and make him say no" to "Of course Brad Stevens would never take the Indiana job and IU fans are morons for thinking it was ever possible" real quick.

Maybe they meant tomorrow in Australian time. Which it already is.

It’s heading back up from Naples around noon, could mean anything to be honest.

So Ned Pfau called Clark County Airport personally and told an employee that he needed to schedule a flight, and added,  unsolicited, that it was to pick up IU's next coach and fly him to Bloomington. I see no problems with that scenario.

Not for sure how it was communicated. Just passing along the info and enjoy the ride.

I don't think it's that notable that Sisley is following McCollum as he follows many coaches.
Now, McCollum following Sisley seems to be the interesting thing here. He doesn't look to be following many players at all.

It would be incredibly stupid to follow back a committed recruit if you are going to be the next coach and it hasn't been announced yet. I think this actually is more evidence that BM is NOT the hire. Sisley probably heard the interview with DD yesterday, liked what he had to say, followed him, BM got a notification that Sisley followed him so he followed him back. BM might not even manage his own X account all the time anyway....
