Yes but it’s strange that we didn’t have any coaches at any games. Sectionals are a great place to see recruits. Pressure situations.

Saying tone-deaf, foolish stuff in pressers and failing to go out to see top targets at sectionals…that’s just failing the easy stuff. It’s skipping the reading, not trying on the homework. It’s how you fail.

IMO that’s a much bigger negative than any moral victories from wins the rest of the way.

The bottom line is that he wasn’t ready for the fish bowl that is the head coach of IUMBB.

And after losing Boogie and Queen and having only one 2024 recruit, getting booed in your own building and having to know your seat is hot, you’d think he would at least try to make it look like he cares and at least show up and say he tried.

That is just hard to believe. Did that really happen? I don't see any photos of the coaching staff on X at any games. Just hard to believe.

Braylon Mullins did talk to IU assistant Brian Walsh on the phone after his sectional win….phew. All is well now.

The staff is saving their visits for portal visits in the offseason and that’s why they weren’t there tonight is what we are being told now according to Rabby. Trilly said his source says there is “no specific reason they aren’t out. They just…aren’t.” So take it how you want

I remember seeing Bob Knight in 1989 the night after Indiana had gotten drilled by about 20 to watch some fringe prospect from New Albany that IU ended up not even offering.  Woody does not seem to have the grind in him necessary.

They can put out whatever excuses they can come out with, but the reality is Woody is just lazy. He simply doesn't want to go out to high school games on a Wednesday night, so he doesn’t. Bring in someone who actually wants to do the job and doesn’t just want the title.

I admittedly don’t know, but I thought it was # of visits per recruit not just a total number of visits combined for all recruits?  If it’s per recruit, at least my visit tonight will count against Auburn.

The chances of Woodson ever coaching Sisley are probably near zero, but I'd like to think he isn't even bothering at this point because he knows he won't be back.

I'd be thrilled with Pearl. IU could've hired him a couple time over the last 20 years probably so I don't see why they would look at him this time; plus a program that serious doesn't hire Mike Woodson period.

Mike Davis - 1-29 and 357th in Kenpom... Probably fired, not likely to land another head coaching gig

Kelvin Sampson - Banned from coaching for 5 years

Dan Dakich - Out of coaching / Unable to land a head coaching gig

Tom Crean - Out of coaching / Unable to land a head coaching gig

Archie Miller - Not looking good at RI / Probably unable to land a head coaching gig

Mike Woodson - Probably fired / Probably unable to land a head coaching gig

THAT IS 5 OUT OF OUR LAST 6 COACHES WHO ARE LIKELY UNABLE TO LAND ANOTHER HEAD COACHING JOB. I'm not sure any other school has that many just utter failures as coaches.... Its truly remarkable
