I don’t know anything about recruiting but it was my understanding that Sisley just wants to go to IU. I think he knows IU will hire a good coach. He can always transfer later on.

Yeah,

Can’t imagine his desire to attend IU is because of Woodys approach/scheme with wing players.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Sisley family is hoping Woody is fired/retired/pushed out.

Yeah I just assumed there was some confusion since usually the rumor mill would be running wild if something was out there about a player sending crazy emails

The emails in question was to Taco Bell. It was a complaint email that Mgbako sent to corporate that he was waiting too long for his Chalupas.

This is college basketball.   They will win games you think they will lose and they will lose a game you think they will win.   Anyone can play the what if game when it comes where the wins will come from.   Even with your 11-9 case with the wins you handpicked that’s still a resume that will probably get them in the tourney.   Road wins against teams like Washington are still resume wins regardless of what fans think.   That would be at least 5 total wins away from home against Q1 or Q2 teams with 4 of those wins away from home against current  top 100.  I know your hatred for high major mediocre teams making it but that’s where the selection process is at.   I could make a strong case for IU going 9-11 and sneaking in the tourney.   If I hand pick the 4 games as sweeping Purdue, beat Michigan and Sparty and that’s a resume that would compare nicely to a bubble team.   The last 4 in resumes usually are crap and if a team would have 0 Q3 losses and big Q1a wins they are probably going to make it.   I don’t have to agree with it but that’s how it’s been as long as I’ve been projecting the tourney and until they change it that’s how I will continue to project it

It is college basketball. It's also a Mike Woodson team and TJD isn't walking through the door.

Then why did you list 6 more wins to get them to 11-9? just say Mike Woodson is coaching them so no chance at 11 wins

Here is where we are. Insiders are telling people things that are not true. Maybe they think it’s true. But it doesn’t really matter. Those people  go to social media and say this is what I’m hearing. IU fans, thinking that IU cares about winning basketball, fall for the insider tidbits. We get fooled. And then we come back for more because we want IU to be good. But the power brokers don’t actually care about winning basketball

And that’s where we are.

They showed they didn't care about winning when they hired Mike Woodson; no serious program would've even considered him.

I think the family has been communicating with Dolson since he committed.

We know damn well the "killer instinct" they supposedly had going into the OSU game and the fight Mike had in him to live to see another day will all be worn off and they're gonna go right back to who they really are come Wednesday. Beyond predictable.

Yeah that’s not where I’m at.

And I hope you’re right. I truly do. I’m just tired of IU accepting average results.
Before I retired, if I had a person reporting to me with Woodson’s record, he’d be fired. Not even a question. In fact, I would have been gone if it didn’t make a change. And we are talking about positions that made maybe $200k. Good money but not what Woodson is making. But IU fans are supposed to take it. I truly hope we make a change. But the fact that we accept what is being put out for this kinda money is amazing to me.

The family of a recruit has been communicating with the AD since he committed? Strange. Well, that's awkward for Woodson.

This friggin’ program man.  So badly run.

This for sure! Trent committed despite Woodson. I haven’t talked to them personally about this being true, and they would never admit it because that’s the family they are, but yea wouldn’t surprise me if they are rooting for a change like us all!

Well, that is interesting, and also telling. Maybe we won’t lose them like a Liam McNeely since somebody’s talking to him on the reg.
