Cannot fathom there’s even the slightest appetite for a coach with skeletons or even fresh bodies falling out of their closet.

The dream scenario is IU hires Tom Herman and he gets to work right away and lands Danny O’Neil. May not be the best season next year but glimmers of hope.

If the new coach can provide evidence that he can organize a college level practice, maybe.

Take away Fitzgerald’s baggage.
After years of establishing his program (and I was big fan) in the very weak West division he won one conference game in three of his last four seasons. 1-8 in 3/4 last years.  Based on that maybe we should rehire Allen…..LOL.

I think 4 interviews have been had, with more going on today. So far 3 head coaches and one coordinator. 

I would be ok with Candle and him bringing his starting QB. Justin Frye has a lot of support from former players.

Fitzgerald is out. This is just the info I have heard not saying it's 100% correct. Just passing along

Yes quoting myself. All interviews by Zoom. 8 people total should get interviews. No reason to track planes till the end of the week. Not saying people will be coming to Bloomington but finalist will be in-person interviews somewhere.

I wouldn't want Randle El anyway, he's only been a position coach in the NFL. I'd be thrilled with Herman, especially if we have the money for good assistants.

My only issue with Herman is that he spent time in the Chicago Bears organization.  Can you wash that stink off somebody?
