Talent Trumps coaching but coaching has an impact. Like you say, hopefully it’s a start but not a good sign, as most of us knew this needed to happen long ago.

It's too bad it took CTA this long to realize what was inevitable. If memory serves, there was speculation here that one of the reasons McCullough left for South Bend was Hiller's ineptitude and Allen's reluctance to address it.  

Granted, he may have gone to Notre Dame regardless, but still ...

Rather than CTA realizing what was inevitable………

I’ve heard (from unreliable, non-existent sources) that Conner Blazelak’s health insurance company contacted CTA and told him they were going to withdraw CB’s insurance as playing behind Hillers line was going to be put in a “non-insurable” category (others in that category include rock climbers that don’t use a harness, blind airplane pilots and nuclear accident  cleanup crews)
