Btw guys, probably my last post tonight - and probably wrong thread. But Drew has legit interest in the job. So if Stevens doesn't sign, we still have awesome options. I know some don't like Drew for the Hanner thing, but I can vouch that he is class.

Honestly, I think the exact opposite ends up happening. Personally, I will feel relieved that I don’t have to worry about how highly ranked our recruiting classes are. He can win with guys that we’ve historically overlooked. If he’s able to get the guys that even the last few coaches were able to get, it’s a higher level of talent than he was afforded at Butler (outside of Hayward). Imagine Brad Stevens has the keys to the 2012-2013 team.. 

  I believe many will have patience with him bc WE KNOW he’s going to bring a smart brand of basketball. WE KNOW our teams will play great defense. WE KNOW our offense will have continuity. WE KNOW he’s going to be great after timeouts. 
 

I don’t expect to see immediate final fours and nattys. I expect to see a program that does things the right things and gives consistent effort at all times. They do this and I KNOW the results will eventually come.

My brother is also concerned about expectations and asked me how I thought the fans would react if Brad lost to Northwestern at home, as an example, halfway through his third season.

I told him I would be ok with that loss because I have very realistic expectations and besides...I assume that half way through his third season he would already have 2 natty’s, and the loss would just drop his record to 86-1, so I’d be ok with a mis-step.

Yes from a former player but I’m not sure how connected he is so I take it with a grain of salt. But I’m rooting for him to be correct.

If you are talking about AJ he has had Buckner and IT on his podcast.  I would think he has assess to them so he might have heard from them.

We don’t want him. CTC is better than Scott. Bring Tom home if Scott is our only option.

Indeed -- if he had anything to do with a coach leaving an NBA team for his alma mater, he'd be in deep doo-doo. I could see him getting a really, really, really big fine and suspension -- if not both -- for that. That's serious sh-t.
