People don’t appreciate blatant trolling. It’s comical they get their feelings hurt when called out. I get that too… it’s a message board, sharing what you’re hearing is part of the fun. Pretty much all of us have some connection to the university and know people IRL who also do. Some know / are closer to more influential people than others. The vitriol starts, I think, because some people play a role of “insider” “leaking” information to put out “smokescreens” on the message boards when in reality, IMO, they should just be thought of like any buddy you’d shoot the **** about IU with. I don’t hold my friends accountable for being mistaken about who they want/think the next Coach will be. People who come here, say things definitively, then whine when questioned are why others get snippy with them. It’s a tired act that doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt because it’s not done in good faith. That applies to the more recent new accounts here IMO, not Chris

Same thing every cycle. Everyone gets sucked into the Brad, Jay drama before getting something mid to underwhelming. A ‘home run’ would be Beard or McCollum. Most of this other stuff is nothing more than wishful thinking

This is the type of info that has me scratching my head. And this is nothing against you. But how can multiple people know it’s not Brad, but they are going to not say who it is? This is where I am at. I still think there's considerable downside risk with McCollum, but he's a guy I could live with. If we can get him.
