Two major power conferences now in the B1G and the SEC and TJO, Drew and Few aren’t in them. I get the idea that regular season is a long haul and shows sustained success. However, in the regular season you can pad your record with cupcake games and when you play conference games you are playing against familiar teams, style of play, and coaching tendencies. In the tournament, past the first round, there aren’t many cupcake and you usually are playing unfamiliar opponents, often with a 2 day turnaround between games. str8baller 1
