It seems like Isaac is just repeating what others are saying. A couple of his posts were long and had some somewhat specific information, however.

The fact that his username is a BOT member, screams troll to me. Probably Matt Painter having some fun. 

He did offer to clarify the meaning behind his username many pages back, fwiw. But that's an easy way to get ahead of suspicion, too.

To this point it has to be a select few and not widespread.  Not really an all hands.  But maybe the upper tier handles this and the mid tier handles NIL?  I have a better feel on confidence in our NIL comparative to others than this coaching search.  I brought up where I gathered this news cause I was hopeful that was significant.  If he has no clue on the search from where he sits?  A certain someone is out of this.  Nobody asked so I didn’t say, but think who a certain large name at Parkview in Fort Wayne would get his basketball info from.  That gave me hope.

So, "not a candidate" were Goodman's words, not Stevens'. 

 

We aren't going to know who our next coach is until probably at least St. Patrick's Day. Expect nothing but denials and platitudes before then.

The best timeline is still available: Brad Stevens changes his mind and Jeff Goodman looks like an absolute idiot.  That's the reality I will live in... until Randy Whittman is official announced at least.

Nothing any different than what happened here 4 and 8 years ago. A whole lot of talk but nothing legitimate. I do have confidence we will land a good coach this time though.
