The final numbers from Indiana's linebacking trio today: 34 total tackles, 3.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss.

It's time to accept that IU is a really good football team. This win, in my opinion, doesn't diminish at all that Oregon is also a really good football team. Both can be true. Today, IU was better. We have to maintain focus and make sure that the next game is the most important on the schedule. Win that one and move on to the next. What I really hope is that this helps to convince even better high school kids to join the program. And that wins like this boost our budget to sign better players.

Absolutely incredible. WOW. What a day! My boy won his sectional soccer match during it too. Had to hide the phone for a few hours. Sarratt is awesome and Mendoza is my new favorite. He’s a smart and tough QB. His post games interviews always crack me up. Love his faith in God and his bit of nerdiness that comes through.

We always talk about in basketball big names not leaving for the blue bloods (UK hiring Pope) I think that’s the case for Cignetti. He’ll have a statue, streets named after him and parade if he retired today. He could ride an 8 win floor at IU and never worry about job security

I don’t particularly like him, but I think Franklin will make some fanbase really happy. If I’m Va Tech I make him say no 50 times.

He’s not just a first team All-American linebacker on a top 5 team; Aiden Fisher is also the captain and on-field signal caller for the best defense in the 126+ year history of Indiana football. And he was the captain and signal caller for last year’s top defense too.

Cignetti in post game interview…..what stood out to me the most was when he addressed how big the Oregon win was. He stated it was a big win and said he had a couple wins at his last place that he coached that were equal to this win…..kinda sounds like something Bob Knight would say….and to me it’s a statement of remembering where he came from in honor of those players, coaches and others involved in those programs…..Pure class.

Well that sure aged well.

I'm sure this has been discussed/posted -- but consider this ... Oregon scored 14 points on a busted coverage and a pick six. They were damn lucky to get the 20 they did.
