I truly hope that all the posters that are active in this thread will continue to post after we have a new coach! I love seeing all the old names and newcomers uniting as a fan base. I am by nature a sunshine pumper, but I’m also a realist. I hope the next hire is all for years to come.

How can anyone in power have faith in Woody?

The answer, they don’t. But they don’t want the drama of firing coaches and the whole Archie got 4 woody got 3 talk.

This thread will be a record breaker in length by this time next year.

I hope Mike and his friends realize after next year Mike will be remembered as the horrible basketball coach instead of the great player he was. It’s going to get ugly. This feels like Gtown keeping Ewing an extra year when he was a dead man walking. I’m so sad. I’m 26 right now. Maybe we’ll be good when I’m 30.

Beyond ugly. And to add insult to injury I bet ohio state hires may cause quinn will again do all he can to keep Woodson after next year. May probably isn't going to just keep sitting around waiting for him to leave.

I live in Arizona, some good basketball in my backyard with GCU and Tucson not far. That’s the positive for me haha.

It's hard to care anymore.

I will watch the first half tonight just to see how hard they play and how ridiculous the commentary is. Sadly the program we love is not ready to love itself.

@Chris007 I appreciate the information that you’ve shared here the past few weeks (and throughout your time here, of course). It allowed me to feel hope in IU basketball for a brief period of time, which hasn’t happened for many years. Now it’s back to sadness. Thanks, QB!

I actually think our info was pretty spot on. Dolson put out feelers but Buckner was going to make sure he got 4 years like Archie. Plus we’re in debt to the Simons

I don’t have it in me to root against IU when they play, but I am just numb at this point.

Knowing this I hope we run the rest of the games. I hated the feeling the last couple of weeks hoping we play bad so there would be a coaching change. I am not wired that way and never want to root against my teams. I am going to try to enjoy the rest of our season and then turn my attention to the tournament. I still say bad College basketball is still better than no basketball
