Its official that Mike Woodson is thinking only about Mike Woodson, and doesn't care about how his unwise choices affect anyone but Mike Woodson. So, basically nothing has changed. He wants to make it look like it was his decision, but he is still delusional enough to think he is going to get over this mountain he calls a hump.

Do we know when the University will make a statement? I think that will shut any doubt on Woodson’s future.

Definitely need an announcement. At least that’s what I’m hoping for. Make it official. Without an announcement there is still “some doubt.”

So, I have to think that Dolson has been in the back channel for some time now.  You don't get to this point without a plan in my opinion.  So, Jerry's post does hold some merit in that.  Is the search committee just a cover you back side move to make sure all the I's are doted and T's crossed?  

I have been seeing all the names posted but are there any that may not be on that list we are missing and would be disappointed in.  It seems like the last 3 searches have left me feeling that way.  We have a list and then someone from left field pops in.

For sure.  Mike is flat out bad for IUBB, and he is going to be even worse now since he is a sensitive idiot that feels slighted and angry after being forced out/fired.  IUBB really needs him out ASAP so everyone can move on and not have to deal with toxic Mike.  For heavens sake, IUBB is bigger than Woodson and his feelings.

But, it seems like they're going the ugly route.  Whatever, all that really matters is the next hire.

He doesn't want "fired" on his resume". Also, he likely did say "I quit", but was so pi$$ed that he wanted to try to figure out a way to drag this out and make his on exit strategy. Any way you slice it, his legacy as an IU coach is absolutely terrible.

There may be no announcement yet because we’re trying to work out the details…maybe do this the “civil way.” Again, with Woodson, I’m not convinced this is going to be easy. It still wouldn’t shock me if it ended ugly. Woodson’s ego is massive
