They need to understand that if the fans boo, it’s his fault and his fault alone….he had the good graces of the fan base …but he couldn’t keep it….he decided to ruin his image for younger fans who never seen him play and how good he was….

And we though last year's Senior Day was a crapfest... this one will be epic on so many levels.

Is what it is ... at least he's not coming back next year.

I'll probably mainly tune out after tomorrow. Enjoy good CBB and March Madness.

Interest in IUBB will be back when we're in the height of coach search season. Looking forward to better days.

The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

Ready for the nuggets!!

I am happy. Coach SZN and I can feel less weird about wanting us to win. Also, the announcement specifically mentioning the Michigan game is pretty GD funny. They know that's gonna be ugly if we start to lose.

With that outta the way, what’s a quick synopsis of the Ferguson (alleged) story about him making a misogynistic comment to Mrs. S?

As I heard it.. after the introductions and pleasantries, Ferguson asked her to leave the room so the men could finalize the deal.

BTW, not only was she Brad's wive, she's a lawyer and was his agent.

Still a joke he gets to stay on the sidelines. Been nothing but a cancer to our program and he gets to finish the year. Do they expect the fans to cheer? Lol. Duke, UNC, etc would not let him coach the rest of the year.

The way this all went down has me feeling like after the B4A.

Would be pleased to never see him again.

Look forward to that being the case after this year. Don't really care what happens until then.

Long nicely worded all to say don't boo ,yeah but the only sure fire way to not get booed is to not show up .

Plus not one word about a new search for a coach ,so do they have someone locked in and will announce as soon as IU plays their last game or no ?

Clearly the release is a bunch of BS.  Doesn't square with the reported "contemplating" retirement crap.  If he actually told Dolson on Wed. that he wanted to step down, the statement could have been drafted by that afternoon.  No need to wait until late Friday.  I was born at night, but not last night.

Anywho, thank god it's over.  Time to start tracking flights.  :)

Did Dolson get paid (reduced buyout) for writing that tripe?
