SlammySammy Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 They need to understand that if the fans boo, it’s his fault and his fault alone….he had the good graces of the fan base …but he couldn’t keep it….he decided to ruin his image for younger fans who never seen him play and how good he was…. Popular Post bodsbums Posted February 7, 2025 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2025 Classy statement, over the top for sure. It doesn’t take too many brain cells to figure out this isn’t really how it went down but that’s ok. I’m fIne with letting Woody save face. I know some of you are much more vindictive, but I just don’t have that in me. IU took the high road and I’m glad. statements like this often end with… “ A nationwide search for the new coach will begin immediately”. That was conspicuously absent in this glazing of Woody T White, steubenhoosier, Dave from Dayton and 7 others 10

Coach SZN and I can feel less weird about wanting us to win. Also, the announcement specifically mentioning the Michigan game is pretty GD funny. They know that's gonna be ugly if we start to lose. WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 Same trash basketball to end the year. Woody now can win 4 or 5 of 8 and say if the fans weren’t so mean we could have made the tournament. It was always the mean fans fault. Whatever, still rooting for a 10 seed in the tournament so the kids get a moment. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Home Jersey, IUHoosier5, NVFalcons1990 and 4 others 7

Been nothing but a cancer to our program and he gets to finish the year. Do they expect the fans to cheer? Lol. Duke, UNC, etc would not let him coach the rest of the year. BBTB Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 Long nicely worded all to say don't boo ,yeah but the only sure fire way to not get booed is to not show up . Plus not one word about a new search for a coach ,so do they have someone locked in and will announce as soon as IU plays their last game or no ? thebigweave 1

Popular Post JaybobHoosier Posted February 7, 2025 Popular Post Posted February 7, 2025 Needed to happen and glad it did. While I was not a fan of the hire and tenure, will still thank him for attempting to get IU back. I hope people don’t boo, just let it go since it’s finalized that he’s gone. Cheer on the players and have hope that Dolson can get us a winner that will greatly succeed here. Stuhoo, T White, FWHoosier84 and 8 others 11

If he actually told Dolson on Wed. that he wanted to step down, the statement could have been drafted by that afternoon. No need to wait until late Friday. I was born at night, but not last night. Anywho, thank god it's over. Time to start tracking flights. :) Chris007 1
