Right.  If you don't get good vibes about your portal opportunities probably best to just keep your mouth shut and stay where you are if you have that option.

From all appearances Tamar is a fine young man from a great family and doing an admirable job as a father and college athlete.  I hope he can find a home that enables him to truly enjoy his remaining college career.

He went 0-13 in the tournament. No consistency. I still think about Damezi missing his last 18? 21? field goal attempts. This isn’t far off. Tamar was better this year, but still so far from contributing in a winning way. 
 

I think we all hope good things for Tamar. And also hope for roster upgrades.

Not a fan of Tamar Bates the player.

He gets a lot of slack as a person; I’d rather celebrate other players that have not made questionable decisions.

If we had Rob Phinisee the person and player the past season instead of Tamar we would have been far better off. I wish him well, but his time at IU was not a success. Not at all.

Uhhh...Phinisee?  I understand that distance makes the heart grow fonder, but I prefer guards that can break a press.
