HoosierAloha Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 Solid bounce back game with multiple players showing out. Keep the TOs down, rebound, and stop fouling. Still plenty of areas to clean up to get to the next tier. Napleshoosier and Southside 2 Quote
reconmkd Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 Nice for TJD! I was at Juwans game for his Triple Dub. Keep the fire guys, keep the confidence up and let’s go kick the Crap out of Arizona, just for good measure since Archie’s big brother used to coach there too! Joe_hoopsier and Whoozhers 2 Quote
IU_FanClub Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 Find a way to split Arizona and Kansas, get guys some rest and less minutes against Elon and Kennesaw St and then we don't play between 12/23 and 1/5 which will be great to get guys fresher and healthier. cthomas Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 Steve Downing was a warrior. Had a bad knee and was still a bad foul call against Walton from likely being a national champion. Trayce is in good company. pumpfake, HoosierHoopster and Dave from Dayton 3 Quote

Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 8, 2022 Author Popular Post Posted December 8, 2022 OptaSTATS - Trayce Jackson-Davis of @IndianaMBB is the first Division I player to have a points/rebounds/assists triple-double while also having 3+ blocks and 3+ steals since Arizona's Luke Walton did it against USC on January 17, 2002. Popular Post Chris007 Posted December 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 8, 2022 Good things usually happen when I'm at a game. TJD with a triple-double Bates hopefully finding his shot Gallo with 1 turnover this season Big ten refs are not very good. On to Vegas J34, HoosierAloha, thebigweave and 5 others 6 2 Quote

There were times last season when he was our best player, and times when he should've been at the end of the bench. Was hoping as a 23-year-old in his fifth year of college hoops, he'd shake those Jeckyll & Hyde performances -- but apparently not. There's still plenty of season left; hope he can find some level of consistency. Not holding my breath, though -- seems like if it was gonna happen, it would have by now. I've said it before, he has the mental stability of a bag of rats in a house fire. He can be very good, but bad things can snowball and turn ugly in a hurry; he can be one of the better players on the floor, or the absolute worst. AKHoosier and Whoozhers 2 Quote

Just pointing out that as bad as Rutgers was, it was a couple of guys hitting open shots away from being competitive. Has nothing to do with scheme or whatever. Guys have to hit open shots. Sorry, misunderstood your point as I thought you were saying we weren’t playing that well if we backed out the threes but you were noting how bad we shot at Rutgers. str8baller 1 Quote

That would raise our ceiling to a huge degree. Let’s also add a dose of Kopp hitting threes and surprising us by scoring 2’s off the bounce. His play the last two games has been good/fun to see.
