Thoughts on Chris Collins? Was very surprised to find out he’s only 50 and what he’s done at Northwestern has been near miracle work

I think so especially with the lack of weekend home games. Driving there and back from Indy on a weeknight to watch a team that doesn’t show any signs of life isn’t very appealing.

Watching these high level competitive games today just makes me sick. We’re nowhere near any of these programs and we have as much if not more resources than any of them.

I was in school for the last year of Crean and Archie’s first 3 years (we made the tournament in 2020 I won’t hear otherwise) the memories I made with my friends those 4 years waiting in line and going nuts in the student section were some of the best of my life and we were not very good. i say all that to say that Monday night was the most dead and worst I’ve ever seen Assembly Hall in my life. People brought up apathy a lot during the Archie era (not defending him) but I didn’t see even a little bit of apathy in that building those years. Monday was eye opening to me because that was true apathy. It felt like a chore for the crowd to get into it at all. Nobody was excited, sure there were a few moments here and there where the crowd woke up but in years past that would’ve kept it going the whole game. On Monday night it would be short cheers and dead for long stretches. It was sad. Say what you want about Archie but at least you knew he was giving it his all, he just wasn’t a fit. Woodson doesn’t care or he doesn’t have the energy to care. I’m sad.

I appreciate it lol. I was not saying beating Nebraska would be a big deal. I was saying that a win tonight putting as at 2-0 and likely 11 or 12-2 going into big ten season would put us in a good spot but losing would add an extra anchor and more anger that would make things way more difficult moving forward. @Home Jersey @Hornsby

Feels like a game that will alter the trajectory of the season. I was at the game Monday and felt like there was some encouraging signs. Love what I’m seeing from Ballo, Carlyle stepped up while Rice and Galloway struggled. Goode’s leadership is evident every time he’s on the floor. Thought Woodson utilized timeouts very well when things were getting sloppy. I think we go out and get a win Friday. I don’t think Woodson is the guy and I know the competition hasn’t been good the last 4 games, but there are some signs that this could still be a really solid year and I think we start to see more of that this Friday.

Thought that effort and intensity level was pretty darn good tonight

What are the chances we can pull Otzelberger from Iowa State?

It’s gonna get so ugly this year and all we had to do was sack up and get rid of him last year

This team probably will not make the tournament until the year 2026 at the minimum and we are living in the golden age of Purdue and don’t seem to care to do anything about it. What is the point anymore?

We committed program suicide this year. **** Dolson, **** Buckner, and **** Woodson. Gonna watch Purdue win a national title while we hold on to a guy because he made the tournament even though he’s a lazy ******* ******* that sucks at his job.

Our best shot to make some noise in this tournament as well as improve our ultra slim chances of an at large would be to blow out PSU and Nebraska. Get some guys as much rest as possible.

We are due for a good X game as well as Malik pulling himself out of his funk.

The only team in the conference that scares me with the way we're playing right now is Purdue. I think we get to Saturday at the very least.

The true fans comment was probably warranted given all the vitriol they've had thrown at them the past month or two even though they were not playing up to standard. The "I've done my job" comment was outrageous however. I will leave it at that though I am excited for the BTT feel like we have a solid opportunity to make it to the weekend and then see what happens.
