I wish I was still in school because there might be open tryouts next year!

I will say I had a good laugh reading through this thread last night when I got home from the Pacers game. You could see people slowly getting more optimistic for next year or at the very least calming down a bit and talking about the roster around Liam. Malik, Mgbako etc and then see a complete shift around the time the new broke.

I think best case scenario for the BTT is we get the 6, 7, or 10 seed. Would like to only have to worry about Purdue if we make it to Sunday.

Honestly the last few weeks have been the least fun I have ever had as an IU fan, not knowing whether or not winning would hurt us. After sleeping on it, I think I would rather not do that again haha. We have fired coaches before and it has gotten us to right here so I am willing to see how this goes. Go Hoosiers let's go win the BTT!

Would winning the next 5 and then losing in the big ten title game be enough to give us a shot at 21-14?

Next season and probably the season after are already over. Time to find a real hobby!

That was insufferable to read through. If you don’t want to read criticism don’t click on the fire the coach thread and please don’t clog it up with pointless arguments.

Million in nil, multiple 5 stars, and not even close to making the tournament with a pretty much barren recruiting pipeline for the future and an unwillingness to add to it and the fact that there’s even a chance we don’t do anything about this is just sad. Another match with IU irrelevancy. Also if you’re anti Pearl because he’s “too dirty” that’s fine but don’t say you want a proven college winner or have any sort of desire to be elite again because all those guys are “dirty” too.

Peegs is hard to follow with all the new threads constantly popping up and when you add that to the fact that the insiders are either stingy or cryptic with info it gets to be a frustrating read

That would be one of those moves that lets us all know way ahead of time that we don't need to worry about next season

Is the Kenny Payne thing real? I feel like I've seen people bring it up here and there over the season but thought it was a joke.

I would say the level of intensity they brought last night was from them being sick and tired of losing games. The negativity has definitely weighed on them and credit to the team they were able to positively harness that last night.

It is honestly just crazy to me that there is anyone in any sort of position of power that thinks this should carry on. We really think after this year that Woodson can hang on to the good pieces of this roster AND build around them? We really think the 2025 class is going to be lining up to join the party? It's time to rip the bandaid off and if people in charge are purposely turning a blind eye to this just because of relationships then I have no idea what to say

It's all good for a coach to hold his players to a higher standard if that coach is also taking any sort of accountability for his own shortcomings. He put these players in a position to fail and then he throws them under the bus. I totally understand being hard on them and truly I think they can handle it but I would guess they are probably sick and tired of being thrown under the bus while the coach throws his hands up and says that he has to get them over the hump and that his job is so hard because he has new players.

I was full of mixed feelings during that big run we had the other night. At first I was hyped up and then in the back of my mind I realized I might be watching them actively save his job and the fun went away.

I hate to do this because I don't think I ever have, but I would really prefer we just lose out and make this as cut and dry as possible.

Now hold on, $1 hot dogs might convince me to buy season tickets
