I am not trying to hide that my priority when following the basketball team at my alma mater is that we win games lol. I'm not defending any of his actions but the guy is not some hardened criminal he made some stupid mistakes but if he hasn't been kicked off the team over the past two offseasons and he is still on the team now, I want him to play well and I want to win games.

I think we probably just want different things from our experience watching this team which is all good. I want the team to win games and I want the best chance for that as long as no serious lines are being crossed.

What do you want me to do about it lol? The roster is what it is and it's not going to change. It is a fact that if this season is going to be salvaged we need X to be a contributor. If you're saying that you want him gone and you don't care about what happens as far as wins and losses go then that's fine I can see where you're coming from. But as far as I know while X has made some stupid choices, he has not done anything bad enough for me to want to just give up on the season halfway through. I absolutely think he should be punished and I would even understand benching him for this game but this is about Wins and Losses and we shouldn't just be tossing one of our only guards out the window.

Gonna be in town for a reunion with friends for my fiance's birthday. Question is do I go to the game or watch at Nick's? Seatgeek is showing $28 a ticket after fees right now but not sure if the team is worth that money lol. Anyone got free courtside seats???

Booing our own players in introductions is classless and shouldn't happen. I understand being frustrated with ins actions and his play but if our arena starts singling out and booing it's own players it is not going to make anything better only worse.

It's pretty funny that in the two major sports we have two coaches in their 60s and their personalities are almost the complete opposite.

Yeah in that situation you're right however I am counting pretty much every road game left as an auto loss except maybe Maryland, Minnesota, and PSU and I don't feel confident in those ones either

I don't think it is hyperbole to say the entire season boils down to the next 2 games and really the Purdue game. 2-0 in the next two keeps you alive. You drop one of them with @Wisconsin and @Illinois coming up and we're dead. Go into those games at 13-5 (5-2) with a Q1 under the belt and a rivalry win and you at least have afforded yourself those two upcoming losses.

I would hope that if things continue to go downhill, people are respectful of Woody even when frustrated. He doesn't deserve to be harassed. What happened with Davis and Crean was downright wrong and immature even if the teams were not playing the way we wanted.

I don't care how it gets done whether Woody figures it out or someone else does, I just want to watch a team that plays a good style and not have to worry about whether or not they can make free throws, rebound, or play defense at a reasonable level. I know these are college kids and they will never be perfect but pretty much every time this team has lost over the last handful of years they have looked soft and inept at basic basketball skills.

If Woodson was younger I would absolutely not be considering letting him go as an option coming off two straight tournaments and having some growing pains this year but not being catastrophically bad. My biggest thing here is that with his age, giving him a bunch of time to build doesn't make a ton of sense. Hiring an old coach seems like a win now mover and he has voiced that, so when things start going backwards that is when it feels like it might be time to evaluate things. I just don't want to jump back into the endless cycle of hiring and firing.

Look I am with you he has not been doing a good job this season but 100% of the blame can't be on him, the players have to show up with their big boy pants on too.

To be fair, Woody didn't do a good job yesterday but the players were also a heaping pile of **** too. All around bad.
