The more I read and the more I take a broader view of this whole situation, it just seems like a complete no brainer that you have to fire Woodson this year. I do not see any logical way a 2025 recruit would commit to this program under the current circumstances whether it is the in state guys or others. The situation at home games will likely be at the point of embarrassing the university as a whole. The majority of our current roster will probably leave and we will probably have to add almost all of our production from the portal which means trying to convince a bunch of guys to come join the sinking ship. I just do not see any way next year goes anything but poorly with Woodson at the helm.

Maybe I'm wrong on this, but my takeaway from the Trilly stuff is that Scott wants to replace Woodson with Pearl but he has to convince the higher ups to let him. I could be way off on that but that's the way I see it.

I can't see the next year and change going any different than this: Finish this season around 17-15 Woodson stays, gets a few guys in the portal that we all hype up that aren't that great Next year has an 8 seed ceiling, below .500 floor We will never be an elite basketball team under Mike Woodson. We can do this for another year or so that won't change. He seems like a good guy, not the right guy for this job. Does not put in the necessary effort to be elite. I have never been more confident that people's interest in IU basketball will be drained. People love to bring up the apathy card and usually it is total crap but I have actually for the first time in my life this year stopped caring if we win or lose because it just does not matter until a change is made.

This season has taken a lot out of me but my main opinion is that if we are going to do a rebuild, I would rather start it with the next guy than try to let Woody who is already pretty old start the rebuild. Best case with that is Woody improves us and gets things moving in the right direction and then we have to make a change rather than starting with someone new who can get things going and we keep some continuity. I don't think Woody has the energy for a rebuild or what it takes to really sustain success.

Woodson has done a pathetic job this evening. This team should just opt out of the rest of the season.

If Woodson runs Galloway off he is a ****inng moron. You have to have depth getting rid of one of our only semi productive guards that is willing to come off the bench would be beyond stupid.

I understand what Torvik thing says, but an IU team at 23-10, 14-6 in conference with wins over Purdue and Wisconsin as well as NU, MSU, and Nebraska is in no way getting left out of the tournament ever. I say that knowing there is zero chance we win out.

No disrespect to coach Hunter but I have seen nothing from him that tells me he would be a good head coach. Now of course in order to see that, Woody would have to listen to his assistants and not the old man advisor club he created.

Let's take care of business tomorrow. That will make Tuesday at OSU interesting. Win that one and who knows. Either way I've accepted this team for what it is. Ready to just cheer them on and hope for the best but not going to let the losses get to me if/when they come.

I haven’t been less excited for an IU basketball game in maybe my entire life. I would be shocked beyond belief if the game was even close.

The only way we win this game is if we play much better than we are and Illinois plays bad. Us playing well will not be enough because we are a much much worse team than them.

He annoys me because he is overly critical of every team except one. Raphael Davis in the studio is also extremely annoying. He tells the same story about Painter's turnovers and assists strategy every time Purdue plays and when IU is losing he could not have a bigger smile on his face.

If he started Sparks against this team it would be malpractice to an extreme extent, but it would not surprise me.
