I haven’t heard anything to change my mind other than people trying to hurry the process.

You mean because allegedly an alleged press conference isn't happening?

I don't know specifics...other than we were looking good and now it's changed. I hope I'm wrong. We'll see if the insiders here will stick to their predictions

Okay---he doesn't know nuttin'.

People have different levels of optimism, and that's okay.

So let's move on.

God almighty, why would you want to stay in Boston after 8 years? I understand wanting to take the job initially because it’s a legendary job. But, after 8 years of mediocre/decent results and no pipeline to success on the horizon- why would you want to stay in that town? Especially if you are offered twice as much money and will likely have immense success here?

I have no info but I still think it’s gonna happen.

Nah. All IU fans want Dolson to go hard after Stevens. If Stevens says no and then Beard says yes, I’m all in on Beard. This is the only time I’ve felt IU has legitimately went after Stevens. As a fan that’s all we can ask for.

Same.

Not that he's staying, going, or disappearing to join the circus, but:

  1. He has been to three Eastern Conference Finals in four years. That is NOT mediocre/decent.
  2. Boston is maybe the most excellent City in America, especially if one is wealthy. It has. It. All.

Agreed, and I’m not a mod like Stuhoo, but if you’re posting an opinion, just say so. Don’t pass your hungry gut’s feeling off as insider info

Why is that someone else’s obligation? If you believe everything on a message board that doesn’t have a disclaimer is inside info, that’s a you problem.

Billy 2.0 would be awful. Then top choices turn Us down and we end up with another Archie or slightly better. I don’t know what worse, hiring a coach who gets fired after 4 years or keeping one that’s just decent enough to have us dancing for several years, losing in the 1st round?
