Dolson needs to make the announcement soon before half of us get involuntarily committed to the looney bin. The manic mood swings in here (my own included) by the hour are truly great entertainment lol, always a pleasure killing time til the news with you fellas

His most recent CFB hire says otherwise

Did your eyes skip the “IU basketball” distinction in my post? IU football doesn’t have an hundred different hands meddling with the program that you have to navigate through. Everything Dolson has done with IU basketball during his tenure has been a disaster. The same people who have spent the past two coaching searches claim that none of it was Dolson’s fault and he had no control, so you can believe that if you want, but the decisions were made on his watch. Hiring Brad Brownell would be yet another bad basketball decision courtesy of him.

That’s what I’m asking someone right now because my idea of a home run and others is way different

Didn’t we have a couple days where there was noise around Drew then he supposedly parlayed it for more NIL? That would certainly be a left field homer.

Play ins will almost undoubtedly be 11 seeds.

Switch the numbers to 11 and 6 then.  If we are going to do a dumb thing and hire Brownell; let's make it the dumbest possible outcome.

I continue to have a significant issue with the idea that a done deal has been completed with a coach currently under contract and coaching another team. I think it’s completely unrealistic for several reasons.

Are you aware this happens all the time and contracts are made with contingencies for when it does?

I love how most of us, including myself respect, believe and appreciate posters like ap, Chris, RTZ, Jerry, GP and BehindTheBench (sorry if I’ve missed a few)…..

…but, until one of those guys or a few of them have heard something different, flipped or changed tunes, my money is on Stevens or someone worthy of a HR or Grand Slam!!!!!

Brownell or McCullum definitely doesn’t fit into one of those categories! JMO

You have really surprised me with how you have acted today. I thought we were all IU fans.

We are. I’d be thrilled if it were him. I am not saying it’s 0% chance it’s Stevens because you have been right before about things… but I don’t think anybody except Dolson and a very small number of people know for sure. GP literally has no track record here then called someone brain dead for questioning him... Since then all he does is post weird smiley faces. And posting all those white smoke gifs this morning but not being able to say who it is, but we know it’s done and they’re really great, just doesn’t make much sense… seems like people getting set up to disappoint themselves again. To each their own, would love to be wrong. In the event we do sign Stevens, I still don’t think GP or behind the bench know a single thing and are doing anything but having fun playing pretend.
