He did not have a great showing against IU either time so I can kind of understand why he didn't go. Probably thought his stock dropped and thought he could improve it this year given the team he had coming back, however this is a good example of what CAN happen if you do return. He may go much later rounds than he would have although I'd argue that this class was supposed to be strong and who is really performing this season up to expectations? Feel for the kid. Really screwed himself by not going.

Tough to play through either so I give him major props. Rourke played through the ACL which was unbelievable with what he accomplished that season. Hope Hoover heals up. We need him for the stretch run.

I agree on this. I understand this offense is predicated on running with TE blocking, but I really do think Schott can be a weapon and they need to figure out how to involve him more. Miami recruited him for a reason. He can help our offense if given the chance. I hope he sticks around after this season because he truly could end up being special if they find a way to get him the ball.

I was also there and was impressed by him. He’s a freshman so he was going to have a rough day against an elite defense but he made some nice plays and he was poised in the pocket. Offensive line is an issue and play calling especially on the goal line was horrendous. If they can find an OC, I think he’s going to be really good in the future.

True if we can sit him at half that would be ideal. I think we will find out the injury after the season. He’s been inaccurate a lot so I’m wondering if this has been ongoing and got worse after OSU.

I’m going to guess they figure it out and maybe drop one. Although their schedule is more difficult on paper, I believe they still have the talent to beat all of them even with a backup QB. Don’t get me wrong I do hope they drop 1-2 but I think that bye was very convenient and will give them plenty of time to scheme around whomever they choose as their starter.

We just need to win this one and get to the bye week unscathed. If Purdue can beat them, we should be able to handle them easily. If Josh is still banged up, maybe sit him out for this one unless you really need him and let him have 2 weeks to get healthy.

Someone posted the tie breaker somewhere. UCLA and OSU need to lose. UCLA has an easy schedule. They could win out. OSU plays USC, Oregon, Northwestern, and Michigan.

They can’t beat Illinois I’m very skeptical they can beat OSU with a backup QB. We likely need help to get to the B1G championship.

I read on Twitter Wyatt was hurt? Never saw it. Did he return to the game? We missed the first Michigan drive of 2nd standing in line for food.

The crowd was deflated when Josh hit Schott in OT. They were so loud and that took the wind out of their sails. Great atmosphere. Nice fans. We had a good time but it was very hard to sit through.

Well I was there and that was the absolute ugliest game to sit through. Great venue. Great seats. Not a bad view. Not sure if Josh is hurt or just bad but until OT he looked awful. Frustrating to me was Lee or Turbo would gain good yards then come out in favor of the other. Defense is ELITE. We survived but I really think we drop in the polls after that one.

Sam Ehrlich said the motion to expedite was expected. To me, it doesn't seem they gave any good reason for the court to grant that motion, but we will see I guess. Hoping it doesn't affect us this week for sure. We could get by next week without them if we have to.

Isn’t that the problem there though, money? No real investment in the program. DMV is a hotbed for recruiting but if you can’t compete with top programs for $$ it isn’t going to lead to a lot of success. Haines said last year no burning desire to be a head coach right now. Cig has alluded a few times that Haines wants the NFL. Not saying he won’t ever want to be a head coach but he seems to really like being the head coach of the defense so my guess is he waits out the NFL.

Totally insane considering the amount of injuries I see on other teams reports. We are in a good spot heading to the bye in a few weeks.

Who would go there given they don't have tons of resources? Some have mentioned Haines already I've seen but got to think Cig is helping him along and would caution him about going somewhere with NIL limitations because it doesn't help you win.

I will also be in attendance so want to see them win for sure.

I tend to think they will overcome to make the playoffs but not to win it all.

I think we see a combination of both QBs. Bryce runs well and that is our kryptonite. Throwing Carr to the wolves seems like a huge ask. They have not seen a defense of this calibur yet (Iowa is below). They also haven't played anyone with a decent offense. I know their defense is highly rated but if Iowa can move the ball we should be able to as well. However with that being said, Illinois moved the ball against OSU at OSU, and we were at home looking pedestrian. Lots of talk about Hoover having a shoulder injury. Hopefully he is 90% for the game. We need this one in order to keep our chances at Indy alive.

USC has an awful defense but a formidable offense. The OSU game at SC will tell us alot about who they will be moving forward. Their O line is not good. They have not been able to run the ball. Will have to be better in both areas IMO with a new inexperienced QB to not slip up. Don't know if I see them losing more than one though the rest of the season possibly at Nebraska or at home vs Oregon (if they can get Moore back) but Day and staff > Rhule/Lanning. We can beat OSU in Indy but have to make it there. I always had in my mind if we had to lose, Id choose losing in Bloomington rather than in Indy. This game at Michigan looms large IMO. We have to win this one and the road to Indy gets easier assuming OSU/UCLA lose.

Shanahan hasn't been overly impressive this year IMO so I guess he could get poached but i'd bet he would be going to an up and coming program maybe? Cig has made reference several times that Haines won't leave for another college program, so I am guessing until the NFL comes calling, he's staying put so either he takes the reigns at IU or he leaves for the NFL at some point. Just a guess based on different things Cig has said.

Yea it's going to be alot. We are either going to have to spend alot in the portal or hope our young guys are ready.

Just saw it. Really terrible for Sayin. Will be interesting to see who OSU moves forward with and how they do with the schedule in front of them.

It’s alot of young guys. Our entire line save for Ajani is gone next season.
