If you bothered to read the article that I quoted, clearly Crean recovered the APR scores... in his first 3 years, his scores were 975, 1000 and 1000. I am not saying that Crean had no off-court issues, but he wasn't nearly as bad as Sampson... and everyone has moved on.

So, back on topic, rest assured that Indiana won't hire Sampson, Beard or Wade this time around... and probably never will.

Many were told to zip it. He said news would come after our season. Sounds like he is keeping the zip ask and his timing or candidate must not have changed. All those clamoring for him to chime are basically like kids asking “are we there yet?”

I’m hearing some soft chatter that Dolson cut Shaka from his short list after the search firm uncovered video of him forgetting to thank his waiter for a refill during his Texas tenure. 

He also swatted at a fly during the same meal...did not kill the fly but he literally hurt a fly.

The online sports site here is only allowing small potato’s bets.  They are basically taking money and willing to give it back if they are wrong just to get you on their site and bet on other things.  The odds their get moved on shins and aren’t based on any knowledge.

You're right, we don't know. 

With Beard it very well could be that they looked at his 52% P4 conference winning record instead of his off the court issues and said, "no, thanks."

With Wade, it was very likely that he still had 1+ year left on his show cause.

At the end of the day, whatever the reason, those schools decided they would rather hire a pair of coaches with 0 combined NCAAT wins instead of Beard or Wade.
