I get that but I've been hooked for SO LONG now that I can't give it up now.

Renewal applications dropped into accounts on Tuesday with priority renewal deadline of June 30th. Prices are up and for the first time there is a per seat fee also added in - similar to footballl the last couple years but not as significant. In my case the per game price per seat increased by 20% and that includes the additional fee. It increased by 12% last year vs the previous year. Parking (also includes a new nominal fee is up 5% vs last year which increased by 20% vs the previous year. By comparison my per game per seat football cost for next year (including seatbacks) is up 29% vs last year after increasing by 59% last year vs the previous year. Football parking is up 26% vs last year and was up 25% last year vs the previouus year. Football pricing reflects the cost of success and hopefully we will soon be able to say the same thing about basketball. Go Hoosiers!!!!!!

IU as total control of ticket distribution for the UK game at Lucas Oil so it will not be the historical 50/50 split. Not sure how many seats will be allocated to UK but there is no doubt that the game has the possibility of essentially being a home game for IU - just depends on how IU fans respond to the opportunity to buy tickets. In my opinion there is no way that this game is included in the season ticket package but season ticket holders should get first opportunity to request tickets at various price points based upon their priority point standing. Hopefully those who buy will not sell to UK fans or put them on secondary sites such as StubHub where they have no control over who buys them.

Hmmm - that would sure seem to indicate that Adam Olsen's $1.5M offer that I was told about wasn't all that firm. May be that he's still available but also may be that we have our sights set higher? Not sure that he fits the backup big man and the addition of Bryce Lindsay, while listed as a guard, could well fill the 3 point need that Adam wqas being considered for. Who knows?

According to my friend who knows the S Alabama source he was coming before Florida State threw $1.5 mil at him. That said, I haven't seen any reports of Olsen committing to FSU yet.

And a very "in house" source at South Alabama and their coaching staff thought so too.

Can't say that the thought hasn't already crossed my mind given the S Indiana connection.

I said that I am aware that he's in the portal and that we might have interest but that I am not aware that we actually got him. He responded that a S Alabama friend & alum told him. When I followed up asking if he's convinced that his friend would know he responded with a fairly compelling answer.
