At the game. Crean was booed at the intro. Putting the ball in Troy's hands at the end when played like crap most of the game was questionable at best made no sense. The tv doesn't do our zone justice. It's worse in person. Offensive boards saved us. Ultimately it's a win we had to have. Happy Hoosier here. Fuck Purdue and their fans.

Looked awful for most of the game. Dakich made a good comment on how switching defenses in the middle of possessions only confused our players. If only we could play like we did for the last 10 minutes.

Some timely 3's and a pair of missed FTs by Colsen saved our butt. I am not ecstatic about this win like others. We had 1 big trying to guard 2 bigs 36 minutes of the game. You have to figure out that the high/low was killing us sooner. Glad we won against that trash talking schmuck but we are no better than we thought we were after that win. At least our season lives on.

I agree with everything you said other then the fact that yogi and Bryant don't like each other. I think you just have two players that show a ton of emotion, and yogi was just trying to calm Bryant down

Somehow, this team put it together at crunch time and stole what looked like a sure ND victory.  The unpredictability of this team is maddening, frustrating and a whole bunch of other words you can add.  Still shakin' my head.

It was in my opinion a must win. Very odd game because it didn't seem like we played good enough to win but we did. We were lucky notre dame missed some wide open looks. Now we have a opportunity to put together a nice string of wins.

I will say Irish fans here at The Fieldhouse were talking a lot of shit until about 6 min to go. This crowd is anti Crean. Dudes were selling can Crean pay for Stevens shirts outside.

We showed fight but other than that it may be about as unimpressive as a win can be.  We beat a team with a defense worse than ours and still managed to look like crap for most of the game.

32 horrible, lazy, effortless, selfish, gutless, dead, ineffective, brainless, miserable to watch minutes followed by 8 very solid ones that probably saved this and other boards from exploding with Crean bashing.  Dakich keeps saying "Indiana does this stupid thing, trying to trick people" because he can't just come out and say "Crean's an idiot."

 

But I do wish we'd stop trying to out think the room.  He was also right...Indiana tends to give up on plays.  Their defense is generally awful on a level never before seen at Indiana. (at least in my lifetime) He's also right that a lot of kids act like they have no idea why it's important to wear "INDIANA" on their jerseys.

 

Nice to get a win, but we're not a good team.  We'll end up with 20+ wins and make the NCAA tournament, but I don't know that I expect many more really quality wins.  Brey said he thinks ND is now the best program in the state; and I'm pretty confident he won't win in this series for a few more years.  Maybe he'll shut up?  Who knows.  Good win for Indiana....  Yogi Ferrell still isn't a leader.  And Blackmon couldn't guard a chair.

 

Edit :  If I were Bryant, I wouldn't like Yogi, either.
